Review: We ordered flowers from George's Floral for Mothers Day that were to be delivered Friday May 9th. When the floral arrangement was delivered the condition was unbelievably poor. The flowers were wilted, some leaves were brown, there were numerous stems that were snapped and barely holding on. Of course after seeing that the office was called to explain the condition of the flowers. A gentleman named [redacted] answered the phone. What is even more appalling than the flower arrangement was the attitude of the employee who answered the phone. Whom I later learned was actually one of the owners. I explained what was wrong and he was very rude in telling me that there was nothing wrong with it he had handpicked himself. I'm sure when it was handpicked it probably was in good shape, however when it was delivered it was NOT! He also said the vehicle air conditioner was broken so that's why it was wilted. He proceeded to tell me to give it water and it would liven it back up. I agree that would help with the condition of the wilted ones but it would not fix the brown or broken stems. He offered to personally come and pick it up and swap it out for a better one. But once he found out it was in Bellefonte he said he couldn't do it. When I told him that I was disappointed and maybe I should take my business elsewhere. He replied and told me that he wished I would. Later my wife called in and he told her not to count on them looking at the pictures this weekend because they are busy with Mother's Day. I am beyond disgusted with the business owners customer service. The flowers were bought for my wife for Mother's Day and he chose not to do anything to fix that problem for his paying customer.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund. I ordered a floral arrangement for a holiday and was assured it would be a quality arrangement. It was in poor condition and they didn't offer to replace or fix the situation.
