Dear ***, ***'s expected delivery date for her boiler replacement job was not met. She became irate and cancelled the job. I informed her that this is a big ticket item and any cost incurred for cancelling will be transfered to her

I informed her to have the copy of the contract ready when I arrive so we can exchange paper work*** became irate and beligerant in our meeting and I walked away avoiding a confrontationI immediately sought advice to determine how to expedite this refund, including stopping two foot patrol officers outside to escort me upstairs to make the transaction. Review: ON 11/**/14 [redacted] OF JUMBO PLUMBING & HEATING RECEIVED A DEPOSIT OF $4,000 TO INSTALL A [redacted] BOILER ON 11/**/14. ON 11/**/14 HE SAID THERE WAS NO RECEIPT OF BOILER AT SUPPLIER. ASKED WHY NOT? HE REPLIED HE DIDN'T KNOW. ON 11/**/14 HE AGAIN STATED THE BOILER DID NOT COME IN AND HE DID NOT KNOW WHY BOILER WAS NOT IN. WHEN I REMINDED HIM THAT [redacted] MANUFACTURER 4,000 BOILERS A DAY, HE SAID "THAT'S NOT MY BUSINESS". HE IS A PLUMBER AND HE DOESN'T ASK WHY AN ORDER DOESN'T COME IN? I TOLD HIM THAT I WANTED MY MONEY BACK. HE REFUSED TO REFUND MY $4,000. ON 11/**/14 [redacted] TOLD ME HE WOULD ORDER THE [redacted] LUNA DUO TEC 1.33 FOR ME. I ASKED WHY THE [redacted] 1.33 HE SAID "IT WAS THE BEST ONE FOR YOUR NEEDS". WHEN I EMAILED [redacted] COMPANY FOR INFO ON EXTENDED WARRANTY WAS TOLD THAT THE "[redacted] 1.33 HAD NOT YET COME OUT" AND "WOULD BE A HEAT ONLY ". WHEN I INFORMED [redacted] HE THEN CHANGED HIS STORY THAT HE HAD ORDERED [redacted] GA 40 WHICH IS A COMBINATIOON HEAT HOT WATER. THE COMBINATION BOILER IS THE BEST FOR MY NEEDS. HE ORDER NO BOILER. NOW HE REFUSE TO GIVE ME MY DEPOSIT BACK. HE WANTED ME TO GIVE HIM THE SIGNED PROPOSAL WITHOUT ME SEEING THE CHECK. ALSO HE THREATEN TO DEDUCT MONEY FOR HIS LACK OF KNOWLEDGE. WHEN I REMINDED HIM THAT HE RECEIVED MY CHECK WHEN WE SIGNED HIS PROPOSAL, HE SAID HE WOULD PUT A STOP PAYMENT HIS CHECK AFTER GIVING IT TO ME. I HAD ORIGINALLY CALLED ANOTHER BOILER CONTRACTOR BUT [redacted] SAID THE OTHER CONTRACTOR HAD GIVEN HIM MY INFO. I THOUGHT I WOULD BE WORKING WITH A TRUSTED PERSON BUT IT APPEARS NOT.Desired Settlement: IMMEDIATE REFUND OF MY $4000 PLUS INTEREST.
