June Auto Sales, Inc

Purchased the 2002 [redacted] from Junes Auto Sales on 7/3/16. Spoke with a gentleman there that stated everything on the vehicle worked great and no problems or defects of an kind. Took the car for a test drive and everything seem to run fine. There was a inspection receipt with the vehicle that stated the car had been recently inspected on 06/29/2016 by a mechanic named [redacted] that works at [redacted] in Raleigh NC. Everything showed passing on the inspection. So I purchased the car and brought it home. The next morning my fiance and I was outside looking at the car. Upon further inspection of it, we found out that the headlight assembly and wiring harness that hooks up to the ballast was missing and there's no dim bulbs.The only lights that are working are the brights.Took the car to a local mechanic after realizing this, and he stated that all four tires were too slick and no way could they have passed inspection on the 29th. Also the back taillight is/was out, so it could have not passed on that either. I feel as if the inspector/mechanic may or could have been friends with June Auto Sales, and purposely and fictitously messed with the inspection on the vehicle to show that it passed. Further more the gentlemen that I dealt with at Junes Auto Sales in Creedmoor NC purposely with held and lied about the condition of the vehicle.Product_Or_Service: 2002 [redacted]Desired SettlementWould like to return the vehicle. Business Response At June Auto sales inc of Creedmoor, NC we offer our customers a worry free purchase by letting them take the car to a mechanic or even bring their own mechanic and test drive the car as long as they want. No time limitation, no miles limitation and that's what [redacted] did. she brought her fiancé with her who mentioned he is an [redacted] technician.They test drove the car at around 8 or 9 pm which means that they have to use low beam (dim) light in order for them to see the roads. Since her fiancé is [redacted] technician that worked on [redacted] cars for a long time as he mentioned, he checked out the car for her. He did not find anything wrong with the car as If there was any problem he should be able to notice it. Such as if the dim light (low beam) not working or if the car is missing parts and warned his fiancé about it. On the contrary he encourage her to buy the car and he even paid some of the money for her Although she bought the car AS IS and it passed the inspection, we still offered to help her fix the issues that she mentioned in the car. June Auto Sales is 100% sure that when she picked up the car, everything was in perfect condition. the 2002 [redacted] has a very strong engine and a very smooth transmission with no major issues or defects when the customer picked it up from the my dealership or they would have not bought it and signed an AS IS Buyer Guide agreement
