Review: On 8/*/2014 this company Junkyard Direct picked up my vehicle for salvage in NY. I live in PA so I opted for them to send me a check for the agreed amount of $425.00. I didn't receive my check after a week so I had to call the office. I spoke with a woman named [redacted] who said she would send me out a check for the amount. I got the check deposited in my account and the check bounced four days later due to insufficient funds. I called the office back and [redacted] explained to me that they had to freeze their business bank account due to some type of fraud issue and to deposit the check again because the funds were now available now or I could send the check back and they would issue me another one. To avoid hassel, I chose to redeposit the check. I redeposited the check and the check bounced again four days later. I called the office furious spoke to [redacted] and she said that they voided the check and would not send me another one until they got a copy of the check back. I asked her what was the point to mail a copy of the check back if it was already voided? I told her that this was not good business practice being as they already had my vehicle and they had already crushed it in the junkyard therefore, I should have the not be having this conversation and instead have my payment of $425 with no problem. She hung up the phone on me. I called back even more irate and told her I would be filing a case. They have crushed and junked my car almost a month ago but I still don't have payment. No they will not accept my calls.Desired Settlement: Payment for $425 as agreed plus any applicable bank fees that may have occurred.
