Review: I went into the store with my brother, this is one of those places where you take your old video games and trade them for something new you want or trade for cash. (basically like a pawn shop) me and my brother wanted trade in a lot of old video games and consoles to get a Nintendo 3ds for me for my birthday. They asked me if I wanted cash or trade. I asked for cash and they told me that I needed to come back when the owner was there (the sign out front says cash or trade on it.) So I asked when he would be in and the response I recieved was I don't know. I then asked if they had any nintendo 3ds in stock because that was what I was intending to buy with the trade and their response was no, but they could check with the other store and have it shipped. They called and the other store said they had two one was 139.99, and the other was 149.99 - the one that was 149.99 was said to be nearly immaculine condition I asked what color and they said it was purple. So we traded in everything we brought and it was not enough so we came back with more the next day. We traded in their value assessment of over $150 so the guy behind the counter rang it up and told me I needed to pay taxes on top of the trade. I was not happy about this at all and explained that I am pretty sure that it is illegal to charge tax on top of trade. The guy said I had to pay the taxes or I could not get the Nintendo 3ds, so I relunctantly paid for it. I went back to pick up my Nintendo 3ds, and they said it was not there so I complained because it was for my birthday. I went back a couple of days later, it was in they handed me a turquoise nintendo 3ds with scratches on it and told me I was banned from the store. A few weeks later it stopped working. I looked at the reciept and it said they have a 90 day return policy on used consoles. My mom went in to return it because I was not allowed in and was told she has to come back when the owner is in, they cannot help us only the owner could, who is apparently never thereDesired Settlement: I would simply like them to replace the item with the one I was promised to begin with ( the purple one in immaculate condition) or take the item back and give me the cash value of my trade so I can get another one. I do not think this is too much to ask. I think they gave me the bad one on purpose because I mentioned that I think it is illegal to charge tax on a trade, and thats also why I think I was banned from the store.
