I filed a complaint # [redacted] regarding a defective [redacted] Firestorm purchased from Just Guns in Sacramento, CA.At the time of filing my complaint, my handgun was in the possession of Just Guns for repair. After receiving my handgun back, it jammed upon first test fire and was confirmed as defective by another local authorized [redacted] dealer.I am unsure whether I would file a new complaint, or if there is a way to update my original complaint as the defect has clearly not been repaired. Please advise!Respectfully, [redacted] ***

I purchased a new *** Firestorm from Just Guns on 02/17/ Upon first training fire, it was discovered that the handgun was suspected to be defective It wouldn't discharge more than one or two shots at a time before jamming The handgun was returned for refund on 09/14/2017, at which time I was told by ***, the manager on duty, that the handgun needed to be examined and confirmed defective by an authorized *** repair facility I returned to Just Guns on 10/17/to receive my refund, and I was told by the owner of Just Guns, ***, that the handgun had been found to contain a manufacturers defect, and had been repairedHe stated that since he personally did not manufacture the handgun, he would be unable to "take the financial hit" by providing me a refund and that the best he could do for me was offer to put the handgun up for consignment sale and waive the 20% consignment sales fee I purchased a new handgun, not a refurbished handgun My handgun has lost substan

I am rejecting this response because: This information is false. The firearm was only discovered defective after my training course which occurred in June, 2017.  I placed 14 phone calls to Just Guns and left messages for the owner to return my calls to resolve the situation. After months of no response, I returned the handgun to the store on September 14, 2017, requesting a full refund for a defective firearm. [redacted], the store manager, loaded a dummy bullet in the firearm and confirmed that the firearm is jamming and failing to eject cartridges. [redacted] stated that before a refund would be issued, the firearm needed to be sent to a [redacted] authorized repair facility to confirm a manufacturer's defect. I was very clear that I did not want the firearm repaired, but evaluated for manufacturer's defect. On October 17, 2017, I returned to Just Guns to inquire as to the status of my firearm. I spoke to [redacted], the owner, and explained the situation. He asked me to wait for him for a few minutes and he would be right with me. He left the store and returned an hour later. When he returned, he stated that he had just discovered my handgun had been delivered repaired and was ready for pick up. I declined, stating: "I did not authorize the firearm to be repaired, I want a refund for a defective product". After much back and forth, he stated that: "the best I can do for you is sell it on consignment and whatever you get for it, you get for it. I'll waive the 20% consignment fee as a courtesy to you". I declined again, stating: "I purchased a new firearm, and it had a manufacturers defect that prevented it from functioning properly. You took it upon yourself to have it repaired and now it is in "refurbished" condition. I would like the difference between the price of a new firearm, and a refurbished one refunded to me, or I would like a full refund". [redacted] stated: "You signed a no refund policy and your weapon has a lifetime warranty. I didn't make this [redacted] pistol, [redacted] did. I didn't cause the manufacturer's defect, [redacted] did. I'm not taking the financial hit for it. It's been fixed, so my obligation to you is over". I stated: "I disagree". I reached for my handgun case and he pulled it back from me and stated: "If you take it now, you're agreeing that we're done. I did what I had to do, and if you have any further issues, you need to take it up with [redacted] directly. Agreed"? I stated: "No, I don't agree" and at that point I left the establishment. When I reached the front door, [redacted] shouted: "You're handgun is ready for pickup Ms. Barba, I don't know why you're leaving it here".I left Just Guns and filed a Sacramento County Sheriff's Department Incident Report, 2017-8010241.I returned to Just Guns today, October 25, 2017 to retrieve my firearm. [redacted] referred me to [redacted], who stated: "I have no idea exactly what's been going on but your weapon has been repaired". I asked her: "Where is the requisition request and repair notes from the authorized [redacted] repair shop"? She stated: "This is all there is" and handed me the orange tag attached to my firearm. I asked her: "What exactly was repaired on my firearm"? She stated: "I'm not sure, you need to call [redacted] and ask them". I asked her about the refund, and she stated: "unfortunately, we don't give refunds. We repaired the firearm under your lifetime warranty for you". I thanked her and left. I have been in contact with another customer who purchased the same handgun; a [redacted] 380 Firestorm from Just Guns, who was present with me during the weapon training course. She has stated that her weapon is "jamming" as well, and has had no luck in getting it resolved to date either. I have encouraged her to file a complaint with the Revdex.com as well.  In addition, I will be in contact with the ATF regarding concerns I have over the business practices of Just Guns. I will update my Revdex.com complaint with the ATF complaint number, when provided.I still want a refund.

Re: Complaint by Ms. [redacted]   Ms. [redacted] purchased a [redacted] 380 Firestorm at Just Guns on or about February 7, 2017, and February 17th.  Ms. [redacted] returned to the store on or about September 14, 2017 indicating that there was a problem with the gun.  The employee who assisted...

her offered to send the gun back to the manufacturer since it is under warranty.  The manufacturer fixed the problem and we attempted to return the gun to Ms. [redacted], on or about October,17, 2017, however she refused to take possession of it (which is on the store security camera). Since we have no idea of the treatment to a gun after purchase, each individual is asked to sign a “all sales are final” statement, Ms. [redacted] signed this as well. Every attempt was made to accommodate Ms. [redacted]. With gun purchase customers are entitled to a “hands on” gun safety class free of charge (valued at $150.) which Ms. [redacted] attended, the gun was sent to the manufacturer with no charge to Ms. [redacted] for postage or handling, and an offer was made to put the gun on consignment, since it could no longer be sold as new, with the usual fee of 20% waived. In conclusion, Ms. [redacted] picked up her gun today.
