I highly recommend not coming here if you happen to be young and/or a trusting personBelow are reasons as to why I think this, ranked in order of severityThey value profit above the client- From my experience, I can tell that the people at this company are highly intelligent and skilled in sales, but they care about profit- not the personI called JustMelt beforehand, in which they told me treatments usually cost between $700- $1500, and this matched the research I had done on average coolsculpting costs, so you could imagine my shock when she told me it would cost $6,for two treatments (inner and outer thigh)I asked her about using the groupons I found online beforehand, and about potentially using smaller applicators to help bring down the price, and she said neither were an option and that there was no way to bring down the priceI accepted this and opted to just get one treatment (inner thighs) doneThen, after I completed the first treatment, she asked me what price I would do for the next treatmentTo me, this experience demonstrates every business trick in the book: haggling, highballing, portraying exclusivity and urgency of products, ectI then spoke with the manager, who admitted that she had no idea where she got the price of $fromThen she tried to cover it up by saying it was for a “full body consultation”, which is simply fraudulent because I never wanted a full body consultation, and was never informed of its taking place or its costsTo argue that the cost was due to a “full body consultation” is outrageous, because all she did was agree that I had fat deposits on the parts of my body which I already knew I was getting treatedThis is an extreme case of misconduct and unethical business practiceSloppy service- She was rushing the majority of the time, hastily pushing for the conversation to end and to get me to hand over my paymentThis continued well into the procedure, where she practically ripped open the gel packet, slapped it onto my leg, and threw the applicator onHow quickly it was done and how rushed it was made me worry whether it was being done with careSanitation Problems- In the room is a plastic or rubber padded seatFor the procedure, since there is sticky gel involved, they provide you with a pair of disposable panties, which are essentially a string with a very small piece of fabric to cover the genitalsSince the panties did not cover my genitals at all and I didn’t want my bare [redacted] touching the seat (which probably a thousand other bare as have touched) I assumed she would place a paper sheet over itShe did not do this, and when I asked, she told me it is less sanitary to do soI pushed for it once again, because this is just obvious standard procedure in any medical setting, and she gave me the paper coverThis should automatically be part of the process in order to prevent spread of skin borne illnesses and diseasesThis has by far been my worst experience with any serviceOverall, my suggestion is: find another place, schedule a consultation and get a feel for whether they will treat you fairly or not, THEN book your appointment

Better Business Complaint ID: [redacted]) Dear [redacted], I am writing in response to a complaint from [redacted]. The following is to address the concerns in [redacted]...

[redacted]’s letter. [redacted] presented to our office in April of 2014 with a chief concern of decreasing inches in her abdomen and back area. Although the best results are measured 90 days after a Coolsculpting treatment, a final measurement was not accomplished because [redacted] cancelled her appointment and has not been back to our office. [redacted] purchased 8 cycles of Cool Sculpting, which is an FDA approved machine to eliminate fat cells utilizing a controlled cooling technique. (Please see [redacted]) Please see the front page of the FDA approved Coolsculpting’s website: CoolSculpting's unique technology uses controlled cooling to freeze and eliminate unwanted fat cells without surgery or downtime. The procedure is FDA-cleared, safe and effective. The results are lasting and undeniable. [redacted] met with [redacted], who was trained and certified by the company to utilize the Coolsculpting machine. (Please see certificate attached.) In addition, in [redacted] chart has signed consent forms for Coolsculpting and Zerona, prior to any treatment. In addition to the 8 Coolsculpting cycles, [redacted] was also given 9 complimentary sessions of another FDA approved machine called Zerona. (Please see http://www.myzerona.com/zerona-laser-treatment) Zerona is the first non-invasive body contouring procedure to effectively remove excess fat without the negative side effects associated with surgical methods. Zerona utilizes the same cold laser technology developed by Erchonia, which has been shown to emulsify fat and allow it to move to interstitial space. We are very passionate about what we do and take our work seriously. We have helped hundreds of patients lose weight and inches. We recommend a healthy life style of eating right and exercising. We ask patients to increase their water consumption and walk a little more than they already currently do in conjunction with the machines. Our machines, although FDA approved for decreasing inches, fat and tightening skin, are not a license to eat. With that being said, I reviewed [redacted]’s chart and her concerns. Below is a chronological order of treatments [redacted] purchased: 4/*/14 8 cycles of Coolsculpting = $750/cycle for $6000 4/*/14 [redacted] was given 9 full cycles of Zerona complimentary ($2700 value) 4/*/14 10 Lipomassage (Endermology skin tightening treatments) for $800 (value $1000) 5/*/14 [redacted] learned that [redacted] was no longer working in our office and told us that [redacted] forced her to give her gratuity. I explained to [redacted] that our philosophy and office policy which is stated and posted throughout the office (including the front desk and all of the treatment rooms) states, “We hope you enjoyed your experience! Gratuity is not mandatory and is greatly appreciated!” When [redacted] was asked how much gratuity she gave, she stated that it was a little over $1,000. She spent over an hour at the front desk discussing it and because I was unsure if it was true and also did not want an unhappy patient, I offered [redacted] 2 complimentary Coolsculpting cycles ($1500) + one Zerona session ($300) for a total value of $1800. [redacted] was very happy and accepted the offer. 5/*/14 Zerona complimentary treatment completed 5/*/14 2 complimentary Coolsculpting cycles (value $1500) were completed and an additional $200 was discounted off a Zerona package 5/**/14 4 additional complimentary Coosculpting cycles were completed (value $3000) 5/**/14 Hydrafacial MD was performed and [redacted] paid $100. (Value $199 and $79 was given as a courtesy) 6/*/14 Cyberbody Slimmer given to patient complimentary 6/**/14 Pt purchased Venus Freeze radiofrequency for skin tightening for $100. (Value $300 and $200 given as a courtesy) 7/*/114 I returned [redacted]'s phone call and discussed her concern about her not feeling skinnier. I again asked her if she had started eating healthier and exercising or walking for 20-30 minutes per day. She stated that she eats right. I then discussed Coolsculpting’s recommendation of seeing the maximum results 90 days after her last Coolsculpting cycle. I discussed taking photos at that time and coming in after July [redacted] so we can sit, review and compare them. Patient continued to call the office stating that she went for a second opinion to a surgeon who stated that Coolsculpting would not work on her and that he wants to do surgery on [redacted] instead. [redacted] stated that if she does not get a full refund of $6000 (at the time) then she will “write bad reviews about us on every website she can get her hands on.” I asked the JustMelt team to call Coolsculpting corporate and schedule an appointment with [redacted] in our office. 10/**/14 [redacted], the JustMelt team and [redacted] had an appointment. [redacted] called stating that she was sick and cancelled the appointment. 10/**/14 Pt called the office and spoke to [redacted]’s chart notes read: Pt called to complain about [redacted] being back. Pt threatened office and said, "If I do not get my $6500 back, I will write all bad reviews about JustMelt and contact the appropriate authorities." [redacted] asked [redacted] how she felt and she said that she now has a migraine. Pt did not sound sick at all. Pt wants medical records. Facts: 1. [redacted] was measured on April *, 2014 in her waist, abdomen and under her bra line. [redacted] was measured one month later on April **, 2014 and there was a decrease in her waist and abdomen. There was no change under her bra area and this was expected because it was less than 2 weeks from when her Coolsculpting treatment was done. The final measurements are recommended by the company to be done 12 weeks or 3 months later. [redacted] has never come back for her photos and measurements afterwards, which was discussed with [redacted] and scheduled to be taken after July **, 2014, at the 3 months mark. 2. No other patient has ever stated that they were asked to give gratuity. (We asked several long time patients of ours and not one patient stated that they were ever forced into giving a tip to [redacted], another assistant, esthetician, massage therapist or team member.) 3. No other patient has ever stated that any assistant, esthetician, massage therapist or team member has ever acted as a doctor. 4. No one at JustMelt wears a white lab jackets because the team has uniforms comprised of black pants and a top, which also blends in with the colors the spa of black, grey and teal. 5. [redacted] purchased $7499 of treatment in our office, of which $6000 was for Coolsculpting. (Other treatments were for skin tightening, facial, etc…) 6. [redacted] received $6228 of free treatment, of which $4500 was Coolsculpting. 7. About us states very clearly who we are. Please see [redacted] 8. [redacted]’s medical records were copied and have been at the office. The team even called to inform her that they were ready. 9. An appointment was scheduled with the Coolsculpting corporate team for 10/**/14 and [redacted] cancelled the appointment. 10. [redacted] has not been in our office for treatment since 6/**/14. The team sat down to discuss [redacted]’s concerns. Even after reviewing her chart and seeing how many complimentary treatments were given, her non-compliance to be measured and cancellation of her appointment with Coosculpting corporate, we were still willing to sit down with [redacted] to try and establish a mutual decision. [redacted] has since been writing negatively about us on the internet. At this point, we have forwarded [redacted]’s Revdex.com complaint to our attorneys who will take it from here. We at JustMelt take the Revdex.com seriously and wanted to answer this complaint in a timely manner. Thank you for your time. Best always,[redacted]

Review: I went to just melt for weight loss and was looking in to zerona. I met with [redacted] who posed as a doctor only later after a month I found out that she was only a dentist assistant. before when I met her she told me she was a doctor and said zerona would do nothing for me. so she had advised me about cool sculpting and said it work like lipo suction but without the risks. She guarantee me phenomenal results and kept telling me how it was great I would look. she told me I would have a flat tummy and not bra back fat and so on. in the end there very no results. she scam me for not only almost a bit over 7,000 but also told me I had to pay her 20% in cash for tip( this was before my results) she told me it was a must. one day [redacted] was not there and the other employees helped me and that's when I found out she was not a doctor. I asked I did she wear a white lab coat? they said because she had done 2 years of medical school and she thought she was a doctor. They told me the doctor here was [redacted] I demand to meet her. I spoke to her she seem nice and told me she fired [redacted] and that it takes 3 to 4 months to see results. I've have asked for my own medical record and a refund and she refuses over 2 months. And on top of that she hire [redacted] back recently. also you should know that [redacted] is only a dentist The doctor who supposed to be there at least once a week by law who is never ever there is [redacted] family member [redacted]. I was mislead by [redacted] not only lying that she was a Doctor which is a Crime but lied to me about the results I would get with cool sculping. I want my money back this place is a scam. I also did lipo massage and dr.fuji and zerona. was recommended that with all of the combination I would get great result and fast. Its not true all a scam. there are a lot of issues with this place concerning legal matters this place needs to be investigated. they still wont give my $100 that refuse to use any treatment.Desired Settlement: A Total Refund to my bank card.
