This owner's response is completely false. I never changed the service requested. I asked him to cut my lawn 1 time a month at 25.00 which included week-wacking, and 1 time the same month to weed-wack at $15.00. I stopped service as reported when the summer came and I was able to cut it myself, due to them cutting it the final time and bringing the turf down to the dirt and using heavy equipment riders (where the individual would ride on the mower) and also brining the grass down to dirt where there are dives in my yard. They did not have the same people doing the work and they did not get the message that the mower must be on 4 for my yard. As my initial report reported I was paid up when I cancelled the service and never did I owe this person money after cancelling. He also falsified his account in saying I did not respond to all calls and in fact, have this complaint that he did not return any of my calls, even during the period I employed him with my concerns and after when he started sending me a bill for first a month amount after service was cancelled (I assume it was because his sub-contractors were mowing the lawn without him telling them to stop). Never to my knowledge did my lawn get mowed after I cancelled but then in the late summer while mowing it myself, I do not watch the grass grow so if they did, I would not know it. I did report with honesty that 2 workers came to my house weeks after I cancelled service and started to cut my grass which I immediately stopped them. I was home which is why I was able to catch them. Obviously this owner does not keep good records or supervise his workers. The worker in charge that day told me he was never to told not to cut my grass and this was weeks after I started cutting my grass myself. To the response on my telling him on voicemail that I worked at a large law firm, that was to warn him that I understand the rules of harassment when a person attempts to collect a debt which he has been guilty of by sending me a bill for services never rendered after cancellation and to never return my calls when made immediately upon receipt of his bill since 2013. Further he kept inflating the bill he believes I owe him from the 40 a month to a now whopping $100 plus which is just ridiculous, adding late charges to the bill. I want him to simply get his credit agency which he threatened in his last bill to contact me and we will square away this problem with a magistrate. I will have to sue him however if he continues to send me bills and never calls me back or brings this to mediation. This individual is totally unprofessional and does not have good records or good management. To show the magistrate my intent was very good when hiring him, I got this man more work through referral and also I offered to pay him cash, which he said he preferred the mail monthly bills. This was at the beginning of the relationship. He still cuts the grass for my referral as well. He NEVER calls me back and I have phone records of my calls, and I will ask him to produce his return phone call records which he presently reports he made to me as I will to prove I called him throughout these months of receiving a bill that kept being inflated with late charges. How can someone continue to bill another and inflate a bill with late charges from a monthly fee of 40 dollars to over 100. and never return their call. To me that is unprofessional and harassment with the sending of continual bills to my home with higher charges due to lateness. A magistrate can even the playing field out and this person can learn how to run a business. I will also learn never to hire anyone to cut my grass unless I am there and to pay them immediately like I wanted to with a check and if they can not agree to workers taking the money to them, then I will not hire them. Also when I quit business due to not being needed, I have learned to send a federal express letter so I have proof of making this request. I have had no contract with this man when hiring him nor was it required and it was only for 5 months did I employ him until the service was not needed and the job became shoddy. I told him that his weed-wacking was excellent but his grass cutting was too short and destroying my yard. Beyond that I have no choice but to defend myself in court with the magistrate and has this settled. And if he continues to send me bills without communication to my calls, I will have to hire my lawyer to prosecute him for harassment. Thank you for listening and hopefully serving as a mediator without cost for both of us to settle this. I am open for a call from him but not anymore letters or bills and he can be told that now that we both have had a chance to air out our dispute through the Revdex.com.

Review: I hire Just Mowing Pittsburgh 2 years ago for the early season of grass cutting. During that time they cut my grass as directed and sent me a monthly bill. In the middle of the summer when the grass slowed in growth, I called the owner and left a voicemail to stop service as I was now able to manage the work myself. He never acknowledged my call as requested despite several calls and fortunately while at home working one day I was able to catch one of his supposed workers (they changed continually) ready to cut my grass. I stopped him, told him I had cancelled service for the remaining of the year and he drove away not doing anything to my lawn. He did however report that the owner directed him to cut my lawn and he was surprised that I had cancelled several weeks before. Due to the lawn being cut by myself, if they or another worker had cut my lawn while away from home, I would have never been able to tell as the grass was being cut by myself regularly making it unnoticeable if it was cut by them. I have been now continually getting bills for service beyond my contacting the owner with my message to cancel the service. He never calls me back nor does his secretary. I also have called to tell him that the last time his workers had cut my grass, they brought the lawn to dirt in many places and the message to his worker to keep the mower high due to dips in my yard was not conveyed to his workers. That is when I saw the writing on the wall and decided to manage the cutting myself for fear they would destroy it. There was 2 distinct circles on a slight slope which showed me they had used a rider mower which I have told the owner from the very start that I did not want that heavy equipment used on my lawn and in the last cut before I cancelled, I told him to raise their mowers to "4" where I cut my grass so no damage would be done. So the only alternative was to cancel and luckily the timing was right as the grass slowed due to mid-season in the summer for growth, making it manageable.Desired Settlement: Get this unprofessional person from stop sending me bills for services I never asked for. I can not and told his voicemail this control his workers who say they cut my grass when they did not or he not telling him not to cut my grass - this work was all done in 2013 - in 2014 I cut my own grass because I did not want to hire him again without being able to be at home to see what they were doing to my lawn. He needs to stop harassing me - I have records to back up calls to his office regularly.
