Review: [redacted], a design consultant, advised that her fees would be included in the pricing of the merchandise I purchased: the difference between what the vendor charged her and what she charged me. That was in place for all of the initial purchases. She recommended a floor covering; I purchased it; after consulting with hard wood floor experts and learning the recommendation would damage floors I had the floor tiles returned. I was notified that the value of the returned floor tiles was $964. She would not refund those dollars to me. Instead she sent me a listing of the time she had spent ordering/getting other purchased items delivered and charged that time against the value of the return with a net, net of me owing her. In essence, she is double billing: once in the purchase price differential and a second time in the hourly fee.Desired Settlement: I would like her to either refund the difference between my purchase price and what the vendor charged (Note: the agreed to fee payment) OR refund the price of the floor tile of $964. She cannot bill me twice for the same work.
