Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business owner of Just Paving and Sealcoating in reference to complaint ID [redacted] At this time I am pursuing a civil lawsuit against this company via a magistrate; however because the owner falsified the mailing address on the business cards, letterhead, as well as with the [redacted] Office and the [redacted] , the certified letter was sent back I since worked hours with the [redacted] , as well as the [redacted] in tracking down this owner's true mailing address as well as sharing my concerns and complaints I have a constable at this time attempting to deliver the court papers to the ownerSince I now have the owner's full name, although he used his [redacted] to apply for a PA license, and to my knowledge does not have a contracting license in PA which has led to the [redacted] investigating this business, I was able to find out that in the state of NJ he and his family had many complaints and suits with their business the [redacted] I hired this contractor because I thought he was a kind person to hire someone with a disability but I will not comment on the treatment the "under the table" hire receivedI openly admit I did not research or seek out any references on this company before entrusting them with my money or property and this has been a big lesson learned!The work that was completed to my home was terribleMy sidewalk looked better before it was redone and now my home needs to be cleaned up with a chemical because of the concrete they splashed all over my newly painted house and fencing The more this owner and crew came back to "fix" the issues the more property damage was done to my home which in itself has driven up the costs of the estimates I receivedI have three estimates that have been completed for both my sidewalk and driveway, a total of six estimates from reputable companies, and trust me I was not given a break in cost from Just Paving and Sealcoating.I tried for weeks with ample calls and reminders, as well as threats to hire an attorney, for this company to complete or finish the work to a satisfactory standard I continued to make this effort because $1,my money was already cashed and invested in the project I was given numerous excuses from not having money to pay for the concrete, to not having a certified crew member available to lay the concrete, being told this after my sidewalk was torn apart and not useable for two weeks, to the owner asking me to make a payment on his truck in lieu of money A job that was supposed to be completed within four business days turned out to be weeks and much added stress to my life I tried to rectify my issues with the owner and he told me he would at least reimburse me the $1,for my side walk and asked if he could do so in two weekly installments because he did not have the money A week later he and his wife showed up at my home with the "*** allotment" They proceeded to provoke me stating that it was "buyers remorse" and that they wanted to contact their attorney to see if I had a case before settling anything with me By this time I admit I was not so kind After weeks of aggravation and stress I told them to leave my property or I would contact the police I was later texted by the owner how they "set me up" and recorded me so they could "countersue" for using profanity against their company I did not comment to the text since this behavior is not worth my time This is not personal to me but business I just want to be reimbursed so I can fix my home and move on from this bad situation Attached are pictures from the work that was completed I believe they will speak for themselvesThanks! Hello, I sending this email in response to BCP # [redacted] case We started [redacted] project she wanted to rip out existing concrete as well as existing driveway she is a counselor to a young man that worked for us so we gave her a rock-bottom price what should’ve been a price of over $ we’ve completed the work for $Plus Seal coated her driveway for free.Only to have her complain more and more each day till finally it came down to her making a complaint to your office we tried everything possible to make this woman happy including after work was performed coming back on several different occasions to please her that’s when we sealed the driveway for free which should’ve been of cost of anywhere from $325-$we started to dig out her concrete which was inches deep we did not know this until the jackhammer hit the ground inches deep means there was a cement concrete walkway laid over the existing concrete walkway we never mentioned it we continue to dig it up which was twice the work twice delivery fee twice the man power that being said on the day the cement truck arrived she ran around undecided still after three days of us being there she told me to leave a space so At a later time she can lay the sleep she wanted so we left A inch gap between the walkway in the slate that was existing we as referred to in her complaint were not there for a month we would be out of business if we spend a month on Project that should’ve been over $and we only charged her $we were money out of our own pocket when it was all said and done she says in her complaint she has property destruction I’m not sure what that means but I will provide you pictures of the work that we had done according to her it’s going to cost twice as much to get it repaired I think that’s not true we are the professionals in the field we try to please this woman every which way we could again we came out to times after the job was completed to no avail she ran around the driveway jumping up-and-down screaming profanities that her father was dead and she don’t know what she’s going to do and she hates the concrete Furthermore she’s got in her complaint that we are in on a licensed contractor which is not true I’m sure you already know that Mr [redacted] you could pull our company name up and see were registered with the state of Pennsylvania we’re also insured Along with this response I will be sending photos of the work that was performed thank you
