Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: We have had two contractors in addition to the insurance company review the work that Just Rite Floors did, and left torn out and incomplete They found, and have pictures that show that where Just Rite Floors tore out the tile for the second time, that the shower pan had three holes in it, they also have pictures of where he had installed the hardy board and where he penetrated the cold water line and tried to patch the whole with a screw and silicon seal, they also have pictures where he failed to properly seal around the bottom of the shower and pan and along the shower seat, hence allowing for continued leakage They also have pictures of where he failed to use the fiberglass encasement necessary for the soap and shampoo inset and merely tiled over sheet rockThey also have pictures showing where he failed to reinstall the insulation between the shower tile and the outside wall In addition, the drain that he claims was a problem, is the original drain installed when the house was built over years ago It had never been a problem prior to that point and when the insurance company did their original pressure testing did not determine it to be a problem Although the contractor claims he had a heart attack, he was in good enough health to have picked up the tile that we had ordered from the tile store to use for another job as confirmed by the tile company In addition, the general contractor that he was working with has no knowledge of him having a heart attack Regards, [redacted] [redacted]

This is in response to the complaint for the work done on [redacted], TX.
When [redacted] first arrived on the job, he found water around the waft surrounding the shower. [redacted] found that the shower pan was leaking. Mr. [redacted] was told that the shower pan was leaking and that a pressure test was not properly done. [redacted] replaced the shower pan and put up the tile and told them not to use the shower until Monday.
[redacted] was contacted when the shower still seemed to be leaking. [redacted] called in a master plumber to assess the problem and was told that the P-trap had not been properly installed by the first plumber and had nothing to do with the installation of the shower pan by [redacted] and provided [redacted] with a letter stating that. [redacted] had to tear up the tile that was laid and the plumbing had to be fixed,
Plumber, [redacted] replaced the drain but in the meantime [redacted] suffered a heart attack and the client did not want to wait for him to recuperate and they hired a different tile company.
Mr. [redacted] provided [redacted] with a release letter for all problems encountered on the job, releasing him from any and all liabilities associated with the job. But as far as Just Rite Floors is concerned, the tile job was done right and the problems all lay within the plumbing initially done by a plumber they chose.
There is one issue remaining and since [redacted] nor I were present when the incident occurred, we are only able to take the word of his son who was helping [redacted] on the job. Mr. [redacted], **. stated that he was not looking into the drawers but rather was shutting it as he did not want it to appear that they were looking for something because the lady of the house was very particular about things. I can only vouch that nothing was taken.

I am rejecting this response because:
He is lying about everything. For 1 thing he never went to hardware store , I ran an bought all the material so how could I be giving them beer with out him knowing about it . They had a cooler in the car with beer in it . The ground...

tamper was bought by me I have receipt ! They painted fence when I was gone for 2 days an it was raining so paint ran an I had to buy more paint they used 7 gallons on it when all that was needed was 5 gallons .  He says he was here for 6 days I have text message of them getting here at 11 am ! They started painting 1 side of ramp that was supposedly finished with splicing an gaps an lots of wood putty . If he was going to fix it why waste my paint on it . I have pics of that also . The whole ramp had to be torn apart an I had to buy more materials. The back door that was supposedly hung so water wouldn’t get in it the frame was very off an I had to hire some 1 to cut it square an hang it . The frame had to be taken off an redone ! The cables to Internet the dish satellite the neighbors house all had over spray on them . They used 2 1/2 gallons on 1 side of house , walls had paint running down . I hired some 1 to complete painting all the house an they used 2 1/2 gallons on the rest . The drive way with pavers has to be redone also . It’s all uneven , an soil an gravel were not completed there was mounds left an what little soil was dispersed they threw it on parts of house that were freshly painted so I had to hire some 1 to disperse the rest . I have pics of everything plus video . I asked an asked for him to do a contract an he never did . On me pulling them from 1 job to another that was them . I told them to slow down an quit 1/2 assing everything an do 1 thing together at a time . The caulking part of house was not done correctly but they painted it anyway , you know we have had over 3000 complaints here of contractors preying over hurricane victims . This needs to stop .
