Just Roofing Company is a Fraudulent Roofing and Siding Contractor based in Westwood, MA We found Just Roofing on Revdex.com in early September and signed a contract with its owner [redacted] on 9/15/to replace the aged roof and install new vinyl sidings and window frames for our recently purchased small house in West RoxburyMy newly wed wife and I am both years old and we had no experience with remodeling contractors at allThe owner of Just Roofing [redacted] promised us to have the work done in weeksAnd now two and half moths passed and harsh Winter approaching, our house remodeling work is still up in the airHe demanded for the final payment of $about six weeks ago even if the work was not completed yetThe whole contract we signed is $19200, and we were tricked into paying [redacted] $already for the truly horrible siding and roofing work Just Roofing did on our houseNot only he dragged us for so long from mid September all the way into Winter time now, we also learned in late October that [redacted] sub-contracted the sidings and window frames installation work out and the quality of the sub-contractor’s work is absolutely unacceptableThe window frames should be wrapped in aluminum foil (as specified in the contract) to prevent wood structures from getting rotten, but the sub-contractor failed to do this at allInstead they only installed PVC boards across all the windowsWorst of all, the window frames all look very poorly and unprofessionally installedNot only the shapes of all the window frames look very weirdly different, the workers also left very ugly red gluey stains on the new sidings across the the back of our houseWe don't know what they are actually and if the ugly red stains can be fully removed or notThe roof workers also left behind hundreds of nails on our lawn, which can be very hazardousIn addition to major defects of window framing work, they also did a very lousy roofing jobThe clearly exposed insulation materials at many corners of the house are very obviousThere are quite a few cracks and holes between the roof and the walls that birds and chipmunks can nest intoHe cancelled several appointments with us the very last minute and he also has really terrible temperHe yelled and screamed at us all the time when we called him to please finish all the projects he promised and startedYou really can’t reason with this personOn October 28, [redacted] met us and my aunt (who gets very worried about our unfinished projects) in front of our property and he promised us to fix all the problems within one week, but nobody even showed up during that weekSo we called him again and again and he either refused to take our phone calls or just screamed at us over the phone So frustrated and desperate with this contractor who already took $from us, we decided to file a complaint on Revdex.com about weeks agoHe finally called us back after Revdex.com contacted himHe told me he was going to send another worker over to finish the rest of the projectSo on 11/9/2017, a sub-contractor [redacted] came and told us he was hired by [redacted] and he will redo all the window frames and finish up all the leftover projectsHe also said everything should be done within weeks or right by Thanksgiving DayBut during the past weeks or so, [redacted] only showed up twice (11/14/and 11/17/17), each time a few hours only with a total about hrsYesterday [redacted] called me and told me that [redacted] cheated on him and he is going to sue [redacted] and he is not going to come to do any more work on our house anymoreSo our hope of having our house remodeling project done by Thanksgiving is crushed once again [redacted] told me it will take at least more weeks to get everything corrected and fixedWe found him on Revdex.com and very sadly this is what we are getting intoWe will bring him to court if Revdex.com cannot help us moreNever hire Just Roofing for remodeling your house if you don't want to end up being ripped off like usThe owner [redacted] is a very crooked businessman and he never meant what he saidJust Roofing is truly just a scam based on our very miserable experiences with this horrible personIt's quite ironic that Just Roofing owner [redacted] 's very unethical business practices get a A+ rating on Revdex.comWe can not believe anything he is going to promise us anymore and demand a full refund of all the siding and window framing work.Full refund of $for siding and window framing work

Attached please find a Demand Letter dated July The letter was sent by certified mail The letter serves as additional proof that Mr*** was notified in writing of the leaks in the roof, and the other damage and incomplete work described in my initial complaint Mr*** has not responded to the demand letter, nor has he offered to repair the leak, the other damage to the roof caused by his workers, or complete performance on the original contract I am attaching the roofing contract, which should counter any claims made by Mr*** that the punch list falls outside of our agreement. 3. Any claim that the leak has been fixed or contract performance completed is patently false I am also attaching photos showing *five* examples of the incomplete work, the leaks, and damage to the roof More pictures (and video) of the leaking roof are available upon request. Mr***'s subcontractors have communicated to me that they have received no payment from Mr***, and that he has instead told them that he has received no payment from me, which is fraudulent and patently falseHis subcontractors have refused to complete performance on that basis(clip of text message communications with *** Roofing - #*** attached, more photos available upon request). 4. Any assertion that Mr*** provided me with referrals is immaterial to this dispute, as are his claims of being a "good" contractor on past jobs. I am happy to provide you with additional documentation upon request, and if necessary, an assessment from a qualified expert who would attest that the violations lodged in my Revdex.com complaint, and the attached demand letter is true and correct, and that in addition, Mr***'s roof job failed to adhere to code in several other ways.This man should never be allowed to work as a contractor again

This is in response to a complaint by Mr*** *** of *** *** *** **As requested by you I will fax as well as mail to youI will also forward to you a list of references that I have received in the past several years and can provide more if needed going back yearsLastly I will
tell you that I have been in the construction business as a licensed builder / contractor (***) since 1979, have worked for untold number of people and never experienced anything like my interaction with Mr***.It's very hard to respond to his complaint but I will tryI will note at this time list his "Punch List" but will state that it's truly not a punch list but rather requests for additional work and I can prove that through photos of preconstruction and post constructionOn all of my jobs I take before, ongoing and completed work photos and have approximately for this job.I went above and beyond what my contract stated and tried to help Mr*** regarding work he wanted to do on his houseSome but not all examples: I arranged and scheduled a plumber for him as he was not able to find one in a timely manorI scheduled meetings with "Demolition" contractors for work he wanted done on his houseI contacted "Asbestos Mitigation" companiesI arranged meetings with gutter installers on site and I made separate trips to *** Aluminum on his behalfI did more and can document it all at NO CHARGEI try to help all my customers and can provide statements from them to that effect.Regarding Mr***'s statement that I did not provide him with a day right of cancellation is simply untrueIt was presented to him, he signed it and it was provided to the Marlboro Building DeptThe town of Marlboro is very firm on this issue and will not give a building permit without it. In Mr***'s complaint he states that I didn't provide "the full names, social security numbers, addresses, exclusive of post office box addresses, registration number of the contactor, the names of the salesperson, if any who solicited or negotiated the contract and the date when said contact was executed by the parties."With all due respect do you know of any contractor in the state that does this ? I won't go into all the other references and demands in his complaint as I assume you have a copy of it.Shortly after work commenced at the property I started receiving nightly TXT messages from Mr*** such as, roofers were stealing copper that was removed during the roof stripping processAnother night that his ladders were stolen, etcI told him my roofers would not steal and it turned out that the copper was put in a secure location and that the ladders that he said were his were in fact his neighbors and the neighbor had removed them from the propertyHis name is *** *** and his phone is *** *** ***I'm sure if you contact him he will confirm that.I am not sure what Mr***'s motivation is in stating what I feel are mistruthsI sent roofer back twice to fix small leak and to my knowledge it was doneI offered in TXT messages, which I still have on my phone, to meet anytime at his convenienceI offered to meet his attorney (who is his nephew ) anytime but my offer but my offers were never acceptedI have photos, correspondence, TXT messages, etcand can provide anything you need to resolve this issueI value my rating with the "Revdex.com" as it helps with my business and I truly value my reputationI hope this unique situation doesn't negatively effect meI will provide any information or documentation that you request.Best,*** *** *** ***
