Old Hwy South StCharles, MO (636) 925- To: Revdex.com RE: Complaint From: Kim Bealom Complaint – Refund Issue Dear Revdex.com: We are in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted] and wish to respond accordingly: Although [redacted] complaint is with regards to a refund, we would like to also express our point of view on her other matters mentioned in her complaintEach day a child attends, we provide an electronic document to parents that outlines their child’s day while in our care (we have provided that document within the writing) Our teachers are equipped with an Ipad in each room, in which the input when each child ate, slept, and when their diaper was changed, and they are also provided with any pictures that we have taken of their child for that day At the end of each day, the electronic document is sent to the parent for their review Our records show that [redacted] was sent the document, received the document, and opened the document That is why I have a different point of view with regards to the statement that her child hadn’t been changed in hours That clearly isn’t the case as per the electronic document that I have provide within As the document is broken down into sections, I have compiled a better view of the timeline below: 10:am child arrived for care 10:am diaper checked – Dry diaper 11:am child fed – 6oz 12:pm – 12:pm child slept 1:pm diaper checked – Wet diaper – changed 1:pm Fed oz 1:– 2:pm child slept 3:pm diaper checked – Wet diaper – changed 3:pm Fed oz4:36pm – 5:09pm – child slept 5:09pm – checked diaper, Wet diaper – changed 5:35pm – Fed oz 5:52pm – pictures of child taken – nothing showing an “accident” on her clothes at this time 6:01pm – picture of child taken – nothing showing an “accident” on her clothes at this time 7:00pm – Dad picked up Our children’s diapers are check frequently throughout the day by visual means, and in addition, the infant room has an alarm that sounds every two hours, as this is the standard in our industry We know accidents can happen at any time throughout the day and that is the reason why we check often and have an alarm that sounds as well I spent much of my time in the infant room that particular day and under no circumstance do we just leave a child to cry for minutes at a time as she has stated I personally attended to her child multiple times that day and am deeply saddened by her point of view on this When dad arrived home, I was told that he noticed that his child had pottied all over, up her back, and showing [redacted] on herself and clothes We were sent the pictures which appears to show that the matter was fresh and not hours old As being a provider in the community for over years, we realize that accidents such as this can happen in transit and may not be noticed until the child is actually home I feel in my heart that if this had happened between the last time she was changed and the time her father picked up, that either a staff member or dad would have noticed immediately upon putting her in the car seat/pumpkin seatIn order to be fair to everyone, it would be difficult to determine the exact time of occurrence with certainty, and we wish [redacted] s family better experiences in the future Her daughter is just adorable! Either way, we are saddened by this event and would have loved to have had the opportunity to make this a better experience for the parent Our goal as a community leader and an accredited center is to provide the expected level of care for all families I am aware the [redacted] paid the full weeks tuition on Monday, and only attended two days that week, and although we would only refund the unused portion of her tuition that week, we will gladly refund her full tuition of $for that week of attendance
