Non-compliance of sending customers retribution in a timely manner.One of the services The Justice Network does is processes payments that the courts have authorized parities to pay restitution to victims. It has been verified by the Justice Network that payments have been received by the party and is paying regularly. The Justice Network process the payments and issue checks.I have not received a payment in four (4) months and get the run around each time I call the company to see why not. The most recent call was last week 1/9/14 and a representative told me a check was mailed on December 20, which I have not received. I explained the check was never received and they asked me to give more time to receive the payment which was mailed almost a month ago. Told the representative to wait was not acceptable, and was told they would meet with the supervisor and call me back (no call as of today). Constant/weekly contact to the Justice Network has been made withn the past 2 months to no avail checks still have not been issued.I wonder if the parties that are paying, know that their payments are not reaching theparties owed, but sitting in an escrow account at the bank. I have tried numerous timesto get a valid response from the Justice Network.I was out of several thousands ($2,500) due to the matter at hand and greatly welcome the restitution payments being made.Desired SettlementFunds acquired by the firm in a timely/expedited manner. Business Response Response to Case # XXXXXXXXMs. [redacted] contacted our office to inquire about having not received her check. She was asked to wait a week so we could be assured that (1) the check had not cleared the bank and (2) so that we could place a stop payment order on the check. She waited four days before filing a complaint.The defendant in this matter was ordered by the Court to pay Ms. [redacted] $500.00, not $2,500 she alleges in her complaint. In fact, Ms. [redacted] was paid as follows: 04/25/13 $26.0007/23/13 $100.0009/10/13 $200.00A check was issued on 12/18/13 for $174.00 and mailed to the same address as the other checks. When a check is determined to be lost or missing, The Justice Network must follow procedures set forth by The State of Tennessee. Since the check had not cleared the bank within 30 days, a Stop Payment Order was issued and a new check has been cut. However, Ms. [redacted] will need to come to our office in person and sign a receipt to pick up the check since it was undeliverable the last time the check was mailed to her.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Company failed to mention all other contacts I made prior to telling me that a check was issued. Calls were made weekly throughout November & December 2013 with various responses of uncertainty, i.e. check processing system is down, we will get to it, may be several more weeks. The inquiries were made due to the fact that a payment had not been received since September 2013. I finally was told on January 7, 2014 that a check for $174.00 was mailed on December 20, 2013. This is the first time I am hearing the amount in which ** states the plaintiff is to restitute me. The amount of the judgment ($500) contradicts the amount of my loss and the amount the court stated I would be reimbursed (the amount was not alleged). I will take that matter up with the court and pursue further legal action against the plaintiff with my own representation. I assume and conclude by the listed amounts, that my business interaction with the Justice Network has concluded.Final Business Response Ms. [redacted] picked up a replacement check in our office on January 17, 2014. She subsequently cashed the check and it cleared our bank on January 21, 2014. This concluded any business that we have with Ms. [redacted]. Any subsequent complaints she may have is a civil matter between her and our client and does not involve The Justice Network. Our file on this matter has been closed
