I am rejecting this response because:Justin has not accurately described all that transpired Yes I accompanied him (Which he insisted I do)to a repair shop of which he is a customer, having dealt with them prior The technician evaluated the damage on site and said The repair by the dealer was not done correct due to them not putting a washer, gasket or felt type barrier under the antenna mount The discussion was that it may be a poor design however none of the similar trucks have a gasket under the mount The discussion was them brought up by Justin that the antenna mount was not secured properly I then asked Justin if he antenna mount was adjusted in any way at his car wash Justin replied we have not made any adjustments to the mount Justin said "most of the time we remove the antenna from the mount, prior to running a vehicle through the wash to avoid the antenna getting damaged during the wash" Justin then partially unscrewed the antenna from the mount saying see the antenna is hand tight When I asked him if my antenna was removed prior to the wash he said we generally remove them, which means to me he is not sure As Justin suggested, I took my truck back to the dealer ( [redacted] ***) at which time my damage was evaluated by John Avitia (Technical Advisor) John compared My antenna and base to several other similar new and used trucks and discovered they were all installed the same to include how tight the base was secured John said the damage appears to have been caused by something catching on the antenna or base, causing the base of the antenna to damage to paint around the antenna mount. At no time did I become upset with Justin I told him it is not personal, I understand accidents happen I just want my truck repaired I informed Justin of my actions to include making this Revdex.com complaint.I don't agree with Justin in that he is not taking responsibility for the damage to my truck caused by his car wash In January this year, [redacted] repaired a similar damage to my truck, which they will even tell you, was caused by their automated vehicle wash system while detailing the truck during my purchase process The repair facilitated by Auto Nation was done by a professional body shop used by them to my as well well as the dealers full satisfaction, looking and operating great The repair continued to look great from January through July, having been washed numerous times without incident, until going through the car wash at Justin's So my opinion is simply how can he not be responsible for the damage when my truck was in perfect condition when it drove in and damaged when it dove out of Justin's car wash?

The customer did accompany me to a local body shop where someone did take a look at the area of damageHis opinion was that the antenna base was most likely lose from several months back and that he needed to go back to the dealer and ask them to take care of the damageI own the same truck myself as the customer and run my truck through at least times a week and have no problems at all with the antennaMany of the types of truck come through the wash all day long and have no problemsI would venture to say that the body shop that originally fixed it didn't finish it correctly and that it loosened over timeWhy should Justin carwash be responsible for someone elses sub par repair?? The bottom line is that the customer was upset that no one would take responsibility so he would complain to the Revdex.com about somebody and I guess I am the lucky guyI have no problem at all fixing something that my carwash has done, but I cannot nor will not repair something that is not my faultThe carwash averages about to carwashes per day and Zero problems with antennas

***, like I stated in my first and second statement, the base was installed per factory specifications as evaluated and attested to by the Dealer Technician Mr*** ***. The base is not loose now nor was never loose. When Justin assumed the base was loose after my initial complaint to him I asked him if he had adjusted the base in any way and he stated he did not When examined by Mr *** at the *** *** *** dealer, the antenna and base was not loose and was not adjusted No one has done anything to the base The base is not loose Like I also stated before, when I received the vehicle after being repaired by *** *** ***, the antenna base and antenna were installed per factory specifications At that time and never to my knowledge was the base loose, unless it became loose by going through the car wash and if so, who tightened the base? I am not just looking for someone to blame I received the truck back from the dealer in January and it looked great Since then, It was washed numerous times without incident I am convinced the damage occurred while going through Justin's car wash Something not mentioned earlier was the fact that I told Justin that while waiting for my truck on the day it was damaged, the vehicle was positioned with the antenna away from me, but appeared as though the employee wiping down the vehicle (Justin's employee) was turning or manipulating something in the area of the antenna Justin stated he may have been installing the antenna to the base, stating he probably removed the antenna to prevent any damage while going through the wash. Like stated earlier, Justin is not even sure if the antenna was removed prior to going through the wash. Because I could not clearly see him, I would be assuming some wrong doing in suggesting that he noticed the damage and was trying to cover it up/Just what Justin is doing assuming that an authorized Dealer caused damage to my truck My position is the same If I believed the damage was caused by the dealer, I would have made this complaint against them My truck was fine until going through Justin's car wash and what I want is for him to take responsibility for the damage caused so I can get my truck repaired to the way it was/just like new! Thanks

***, the reason the carwash at the dealership messed it up to begin with is because the base was not tight enough We run this exact type of truck through at least to times a day and have had not other problems because they are assembled correctly If the part had been tightened securely there would have been no damage to the truck My business will not take responsibility for a truck with a previous issue that has nothing to do with my carwash The owner is looking to blame somebody and I understand that The dealer needs to take responsibility because it somehow came lose again which is not because of getting a carwash.Justin ***
