On March 8, 2016, I signed a contract with Anthony G[redacted] of Juxtapoze Modern Media to develop a website and to brand my business, [redacted], including a marketing approach for product development, search engine optimization, graphic design for all marketing materials (which included the website, letterhead, business cards, video, etc., and monthly maintenance of search engine optimization and posting of weekly blogposts. He was pre-paid $3,000.00 in good faith. Several times during the contract period, beginning as early as April, Anthony would "disappear", where he would be unreachable by email, phone or text while progress on services remained in stagnation. As a result, I asked in early June via email for a renegotiated contract with a deadline of June 30, 2016, to release me from the ongoing relationship with Anthony and to assure at least the completion of the website, logo and printed materials. Anthony initially agreed to this renegotiation with a promise to do whatever it took to meet my satisfaction, only for Anthony to disappear once more, and then to reappear on June 29 with a partially completed website, proposals for the printed materials and instructions on how to edit the website on my own. I replied letting him know that none of the services provided were satisfactory or acceptable and agreed to open a renegotiated contract with a deadline of July 31, 2016 for him to avoid being in breach of contract and subsequent legal action. Anthony and I met and agreed to changes and revisions which he never implemented and disappeared once more without having delivered in completion any of the services I contracted him for. I have hired an attorney, who has issued a letter detailing that he is in breach of contract. He has been given 10 days to reply.I would like a full refund of the $3,000.00 paid in good faith to Anthony G[redacted] of Juxtapoze Modern Media who behaved unprofessionally, made false promises, and ultimately is in breach of a legal and binding contract.
