I used BM for payroll services for my small consulting business. In the first year, my accountant had ** spend many hours on the phone because the 1099 could not be reconciled. Then in January 2016 I requested that they stop processing payrolls for a hiatus. They agreed on the phone and in writing.

On Feb 26** they processed my payroll anyways, which they profusely apologized for and reversed the payroll (but not the taxes as they could not pull those back). They confirmed AGAIN that they would not run payrolls for the time being. March 1st, no payroll, yeah... March 15**, guess what, they ran payroll again. Cutting checks and sending taxes ** the gov'** money I had not accounted for.

Once again they failed their own promises and controls. Fast forward ** Sept, I tell them I plan ** resume my payroll on October 31st, but on a new gross amount. On October 15** they run the old payroll amount.. their apology "I thought you wanted ** resume the old payroll". My message was very clear, but they are apparently unable ** comprehend a simple request.

So now I need ** account for the over payment of taxes in Feb/March. I adjust the numbers personally because I cannot trust BM ** do anything. I give them a specific amount ** run on November 30**. They again agree ** run that number. Guess what.. they run a different number. Some number someone made up because there is no explanation of it. So again I adjust the payroll for my Dec 15** run.

For the Dec 15** payroll they correctly (blind squirrel I guess) run it right. I'm so elated. I have one final Dec 30** payroll ** run. I email and call and get an email confirmation of the payroll gross amount they will run on Dec 30**. Guess what, they run yet again some different (larger random number). Now my 2016 payroll and taxes won't add up properly. I am still awaiting them ** fix the problem, if possible. Somehow I don't think they plan ** offer any help, because I've never felt any sort of customer service or caring.

Once done, I plan ** leave BM, and run as fast as possible. I had never worked with such an incompetent group of people, from start ** finish.

I rarely get thru ** them on the phone, they rarely if ever return phone calls, and they never follow thru with what they promise unless I lead them like little children.

BM has no place being in the payroll industry. Their internal and financial controls have got ** be a complete mess because they could not properly process 5 of my 6 payrolls.
