JV Lazarros painted our house two years ago. However, within a matter or months, we noticed peeling on one side of the house and fading on another side. We contacted them several times leaving messages. In June 2018, a representative finally responded indicating they will stop by to see the house and fix it. No one ever came. I continued calling and texting for the next few months. No response to any of my calls or texts. No one answered the phone.
Finally, this summer (May 2019) someone responded and finally came by to take a look. They stayed about an hour and left without asking us to check what they did to fix it. They did a lousy job by just painting the areas without scraping or priming first. It looks terrible. I really regret hiring these guys to paint our house. We still need to hire someone else to fix those problem areas after paying JV Lazarros a nice sum of money for a terrible job. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

Review: J V Lazaro painted my house last year 2014. In April of 2015 I noticed peeling on only one side of the house. I made 2-3 calls and finally got them to come out in May of last year. He looked at it, saw the problem and said he would be back in a month to fix. After many calls I got him back in Sept. Now he says that peeling is not covered even though his written contract said it is. He said he would "fix it right" for $800.00 and if I did not pay he would not do. I said I will pay but will take you to small claims court later. He sent his truck with two guys to do it. They sanded all the bad places, primed and painted. While they were he, Lazaro called and asked that I give one of the workers a check made out to that worker and not him. He is either trying to avoid paying federal taxes or trying to get some plausible deniability in the issue. I told him I would only make the check out to his company. They did the job and I gave them the check which I regret now. I emailed him asking for my money back but no response. I will eventually go to small claims court. I found many similar complaints against the guy on line. Beware!Desired Settlement: Give me $600 back and keep the 200 for the paint.
