I recently visited Bass Pro Shops in the Cincinatti, OH area Upon entering the store I was met with a warm and friendly smile from the greeter I thought this was going to be a great day!! Boy was I wrong I then proceeded to the gun area and looked around a bit Several sales persons walked by my without even given me one glance That's ok I was just browsing at this point However, when I decided I wanted to look at some knives behind the counter I stepped to the counter and noticed two sales persons carrying on a conversation with one customer over in the center of the gun cases I began to look around for someone to help me and notice another sales person come out of the back look right at me and then disappear Frustrated I walked over to the Bow section and received the same distasteful greeting Now I don't expect someone to jump up and down and wave their arms when I shop The young lady in the bow section was helping another person, but at least a simple I will be with you in a moment greeting would have sufficed Instead I got nothing, as if I wasn't even there I then proceeded back to the gun and knife area to see the two same sales people still chatting with the one customer Does it really take two people to help one person I am completely discouraged by this incident and will most likely never do business with the hunting/gun/bow/knife department again Which will most likely keep me from even going to Bass Pro Shops in Cincinatti, OH ever again One of the rules of sales is to treat others with a little dignity, instead I was treated as if invisible How would you feel?
Worst Buying Experience everWent to Purchase a new Boat when I arrived it was 4: And all the Sale person did was ...look at his watch the whole timeA few minutes before 5: he left and had other Sales Person show me a Boat I should have left then but I did not Next Day I called and told them I would be dropping off my boat for Trade in Value, Two Days later after making many calls they came up with a trade in valueWhen writing the Purchase and Sales they did not reach out to the Bank to find out what the Payoff would be after I gave them a contact at the BankTwo Days later went there to Pick up new Boat and Brought them a Bank Check assuming they had done their JobAfter giving them a check Signing all the Paper work they called me to let me know I owed them and extra [redacted] dollarsI should have told them to bad paper work was done they signed and I signed, But Iâ m not a stiff so I went Back and Gave them the MoneyThey need to learn how to do Paper work and how to sell Boats I was going to go to [redacted] Marine were I purchased my last Boat, But since they were so close I thought I would give them the SaleWorst mistake I have ever Made Hookset NH
