• We received a call from [redacted] ***, a Partner in [redacted] .com (A Bangalore based real- estate company) • [redacted] 's primary business was to help people locate, identify and move into a Rented House or an Apartment• [redacted] would charge a Service charge for the same and conduct this service• We received this call for the first time in July Post our initial rounds of discussion, we understood their requirements and came out with a Business Proposal for the same• We were informed that this will be an Inbound Call Center and the requirement was for just resources spread across a overlapping shift of around hrs• The work days would be Tuesday to Sunday, with Monday being a Holiday• The proposal was sent to them on 19th July • We didnt receive a Response from them for quite some months after thatWe were awaiting to hear back from them but nothing moved ahead with this proposal then• On 9th of November 2017, we had a call from [redacted] stating that he was interested in the same proposal again• On 10th of November, we got on a call with [redacted] and understood if there are any changes to the requirements and took this forward to the next level of discussion• We had an internal discussion about this and sent out a proposal to [redacted] and he too confirmed the rates• We got on a call with their CTO, Mr [redacted] and had a detailed discussion about the Technology to be involved, resource quality and other solution issues• The rates that were agreed missed out a key component of the Transaction volume of the work expected• Also the Time and Motion study for the work involved and the resource Engagement model had to be re-looked to confirm if this project was viable for the cost that was quoted• We took some time to re-analyse things and our Analysis just proved that the Budget quoted for this project was not appropriate and wouldn't be fruitful in the best interests of the company• Hence we informed Mr [redacted] from [redacted] about our commercial engagement model and also provided him the new commercial numbers for executing this project from our office in Mangalore• However, Mr [redacted] wasn't happy with the new figures and he felt that we have wasted his time and efforts• We hadn't signed any contract or issued any PO to Mr [redacted] confirming the initial budget of the proposal• However, when we noticed that the Budget was not beneficial to the company, we had to take this tough call of informing Mr [redacted] that we cant proceed with his Business as of now from India center located in Mangalore• We appreciate that Mr [redacted] understood our constraints for the same
