Concerning Mr***’s response to my complaint, Mr [redacted] should not overbook if he cannot fulfill his commitments for the dayThis must be a common issue for him as it has been twice that he has unable to detail my vehicleIt seems he should know how many cars he can do in a day and book that manyI have never heard of anyone having to leave their vehicle for days at a time in order to have it detailed. If I would have booked a detail at another shop or with another individual, I would have dropped off my vehicle in the morning before work and then be able to pick it up right after workMost people cannot go days without their vehicle and would not take it somewhere where this is the caseAft my first appointment with him that he was not able to provide his detailing services, I did not complain about his servicesMy mom went to his shop and stated that we did not think this was going to work out since I live so far away and he is so difficult to nail down for an appointmentOn that day, hehanded my mother a $bill and stated that he would give her the rest the next weekMy mom, trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, gave him back the $and stated that she trusted that he would send a check to the address providedOnce the check was not received, she contacted him again, he then changed his story stating that he would not give a refund after talking to his motherMr[redacted] did not make any mention at that point about extending the expiration date on the gift certificate, he just told me to reschedule my car so he could “try” to fit it in some other timeHe would not have communicated this with us if my mother did not follow up with himAlso, there is no place on the gift certificate that states that it is non-refundable.After this incidence, I personally would not take my car thereI decided to give him one more shot and my mom arranged for him to use my gift certificate for my dad’s truckMy mother called Mr [redacted] and it was agreed that Concerning the first statement from August, circumstances made it so that I was not able tocomplete the car in one day. I advised the customer that I could complete it the following day. It isnot our policy to refund a gift certificate but to honor it at a later date and to extend the...

expirationdate. I may have initially said there was a possibility of refunding the amount but after consultingwith my accountant I extended the expiration date instead.Concerning the second statement: As of October 1, 2017 my lease was not renewed andtherefore I did not have facilities to conduct my business. However, I was, and still am trying towork out of temporary locations. In order to do that I have to give ample notice to the business(not mine) where I will be working. That being said, I had made arrangements to do the truck onMonday morning, December 11th (the customer also stated that in her complaint). The truck wasto be dropped off at my house in the morning and I would have done it that day. However, thetruck was not dropped off until approximately 8:30pm. I then attempted to find a play to do thevehicle. I did find a place to do the job on Thursday and made the customer aware of that andthey were ok with that. So Thursday morning I intended to take the truck over to the location anddo the work. Then I got a text from the customer that said they were picking it up at noon. If theyhad picked it up at 5:00pm as originally agreed to it would have been completed. After that the customer proceeded to bash me on Facebook and send me messages. I told herthat 1 would still honor the gift certificate but would not refund the cash. In my 2 1h of business Ihave received 5 star ratings from my customers and I have always made things right if they arenot happy. 1 will extend the expiration date of her gift certificate until December 2018. When I ampermanently in a new location it will be easier to schedule appointments. Until then, I will still beworking but will be limited as to when I will be able to use a garage. If she would like toreschedule 1 will be happy to try to accomodate.Sincerely,Joshua [redacted]JW Detailing[redacted]
