It is not 'cozy', it's literally a pain in your neckMy mattress was so old that it had lumps and indentations where it had broken downThere was only a ridge about inches wide down the middle that was level to lay on, but then I would fall to the left or right, into a hole or onto a lumpIf I lay crossways, my body would be zig zag over the lumps, holes and narrow middle bridgeI never woke up pain freeDuring the snows, two times it took days to get my room warmI had to ask for an extra blanket, which had cigarette burn holes in it It is not 'clean'On my first day, I had to vacuum, mop, scrub the tub, and toilet and clean all general surfaces before it was liveableThe refrigerator was not cleanI initially wiped everything down with wipees, then brought them down to the manager and showed her how dirty they wereI asked for a towel and cleaning agentShe gave it to me, and her daughter was standing right thereThe next day I reported bed bugs and the manager gave me bug powderWhen I moved the bed and nightstands to vacuum underneath and put the powder down, there was hair, lint, trash and food particlesIt looked like it hadn't been moved and vacuumed underneath in a yearThe entire length of my stay, there were always bed bugs and, including the powder I lay down, there were treatments in just over months and they were still there when I leftIn the bathroom, I tried using a toothbrush to scrub the black off of the sloppy caulk work on the tub, but it wouldn't come offThe corners of the bathroom were caked black with old lint, hair, bug carcasses, hygiene products, and whatever bodily fluids that may have been leftThe doors, door handles, door jams and light switches had layers of grease, grime and dirt on them(Probably bodily fluids and old food, also.) I cannot say whether the sheets were clean or not, but they were definitely threadbareThe bottom sheet wouldn't even stay on the bed because the elastic had stretched out so farI had to wear shoes all the time or my socks would turn blackI asked for a plug for either my sink or my bathtub, in order to do dishes, and I was told no, I couldn't get eitherThe laundry room needed a thorough cleaning with a powerhose Included are pictures as proof of my claimI suggest someone go to the location, and all other locations owned by the same person, to make an inspection to see if this (and all) establishment(s) is(are) up to the Revdex.com's standards I am requesting that all of Silver Dollar's advertising be deleted from the internet and that it either has no Revdex.com rating or it has a D I also think they should be reported to the CDC, for bed bugs and other health code violations and the city's building code enforcement section Thank you for your consideration Sincerely, [redacted]

I've seen it advertised as 'quaint', 'cozy', and 'clean'.
I lived there for over 2 months. It isn't 'quaint'. It is old, delapidated and not even up to code. Some bathrooms' outlets don't have a breaker to prevent a person from being shocked in case a hairdryer falls in the sink. Some rooms have windows that don't close all the way. My heater was not reliable. This building needs to be condemned and torn down. (As well as all other motels that this slumlord owns, for example, the Co-ed, the Capri and the Pony Express.)
