the Framer (*** ***) behind the smokescreen "JWDInc" does not wish to participate in the Revdex.com because it is a legitimate forum for exposing the truth about businesses and weeds out the bad guys. When or if *** *** comes to his senses and recognizes that he has ripped us off of about $34,and begins to make good on it, he will also probably become involved in such activities that encourage a more hone** business climate. But until then I wouldn't trust him inch.

Review: JWDINCORPORATED ([redacted]theframer or [redacted]) contracted la** May with us to frame and provide lumber and hardware for framing a new cu**om home. But after he was paid $36,900 (52% of the contract amount to frame the entire home) in early November, being shortly after he had framed only the fir** floor, he began complaining of job delays, he demanded a $10,200 change order but refused to specify the co** for each change, and he did a horrible job on the plywood subfloor. The floor was off-level 1-1/2 inches from one side to the other, and sank 5/8 inches in less than 10 feet. JWDINC did not follow approved plans with regard to many **ructural elements including using under-sized lumber , not providing required cross-blocking, and misframing walls at 2 interior **airways. He even ran the joi**s the wrong way under the living room, lengthening the span and thus making a spongier floor.We asked [redacted] to correct some of the defects more than once and each time he refused. A li** of defects provided by reputable framing contractor specifies 10 areas of defects and $4700 to correct those. [redacted] personally and intentionally told his crew in front of me to disregard my efforts to get them to do decent work. That same day they even used paper drywall shims to "level" the subfloor (how much will that floor squeak after some years?)In January we asked [redacted] to correct and complete his work per his contract, or repay the sub**antial overpayment. Now about 5 weeks later, JWDINC has not given any indication of acting hone**ly toward us , but rather the opposite, has chosen to attack us , filing an unfounded claim with my license bond company and **ate license board. (Upon checking on his own **ate contractors license, I discovered JWDINc's license , [redacted], was issued on "probation" **atus.Also, the framer who replaced JWDINC , later found many other errors and omissions in JWDINC's work well beyond the $4700 li** of corrections, some of them affecting the **ructural integrity.Desired Settlement: Repayment by JWDINCORPORATED of the amount it was overpaid on the jobsite at [redacted], Los Angeles, CA 90026. This would be the full check amount he received from [redacted] of $36,900, less the fair value of labor and materials he provided in the fir** floor , valued at $7400, plus the co** to repair a minimum of his errors and omissions at $4700, plus attorneys fees incurred to write him letters and write to his attorney, now at $2182, thus now a total of $36,382.

When or if [redacted] comes to his senses and recognizes that he has ripped us off of about $34,000 and begins to make good on it, he will also probably become involved in such activities that encourage a more hone** business climate. But until then I wouldn't trust him 1 inch.
