JWI Latino Extensive Home Repairs

Job is half complete and [redacted] does not return numerous phone calls. I have called him every day for a month with no reply. I entered into a contract with [redacted] for the renovation and addition to our house. It took him four months to begin work on the project after accepting the initial payment. Work was steady for three months and then stopped abruptly when it was time to finish the exterior with stucco. My last contact with [redacted] was over a month ago despite the fact that I have called and left messages for him daily since then. When I last spoke with him he said he would be back to work on the house that week and it has been four weeks since then. In addition to these issues the stucco work that he did complete is incorrect. There is no vapor barrier - the stucco is applied to wood sheathing directly. I am now under pressure from my neighbors who are threatening legal action if the house is not completed. I have no choice but to hire a different contractor to both tear down what was installed correctly and then finish the job that [redacted] (PS Latino) was under contract to perform. I am extremely unhappy with the service provided and would not recommend this company or individual to anyone.Desired SettlementI would like a refund on the money paid to [redacted] for the windows so that I can hire a reputable contractor to actually install the windows. I would also like compensation for the cost of the work required to tear down the stucco that was applied incorrectly.
