I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Please see the attached pictures for the total work remaining to be done, and damages not repaired. My missing concrete steps, that Wayne wanted to replace with wooden steps - unacceptable. Also my missing downspout end, and the Landscaping around the house has been destroyed. It will take much more than a quck visit to correct all of this. If he will just pay the $1,000 to me, I will get someone else who can finish the job.

Mrs [redacted] called me to give her a price to stop her home from settling. I meet her at her home to evaluate her problem. At that time I sat down with her to explain her foundation issue. She explained to me that she was having a hard time with her health and her foundation . Then out of...
nowhere she volunteered the cost that another contractor had quoted her to repair her foundation. She told me the other company wanted $9000.00 to repair her foundation. At that time I hadn't given her our price yet. Seeing her situation and understanding that she is single woman and had her share of problems I gave here a bid of $7,200.00. I feel this was considerate and generous. At know time did I demand cash but I did ask to be paid in cash She agreed. The price I gave here was very reasonable and at that rate I could not afford being given a bad check or canceled check. She said she wanted to give it some thought.
She called me sometime later and accepted our bid and we agreed to meet at a time and place that was convenient for both of us that was white castle. She signed the contract and made a 10% deposit. Our contract does not state that her yard would be returned to its former glory we agree to take great care to remove plants and shrubs and replant them but cannot be responsible for there survival . We did that. I did show up soon and dropped of a couple of our guys who were of Spanish decent. We do not discriminate. We have employed women, men, and people of any race color or creed. We require our employees to be law abiding hard working and considerate to each other and our clients. I do not apologize for this.
Our work is outside I cannot control the sun, rain the heat or cold so yes we work all day outside as long as it is not a threat to the health of safety of all who are involved. So as to her insinuation that I am somehow cruel or mean because we work outside when it is hot, that is silly. To this day I am puzzled why she did not water here bushes when we transplanted them . I told here to water them it would not effect our work. She did not water them.
While excavating to installing piering under her house to solve her settling problem we discovered her footing was well above the frost line, this is very bad for a structure . I brought this to matter to her. Again I felt sorry for her and gave her a discount We fully excavated approximately 60 linear feel of her foundation to a depth of 36 inches in-order to install insulation to prevent the footing from freezing. Our charge to her was $1000.00. This was below cost therefore I excavated the site myself. I will not apologize for that.
Her statement about my brother is wrong on so many levels, calming he is some kind drug addict. My brother is a Iraq war veteran who is partially disabled from his tour. He has suffered physical pain from the injuries he sustained over there, He simply stated the he could emphasize with her friend. Our family is very proud of my brother not only for his past acts of service, his goodness and willingness to help almost anybody, very soon he will be receiving his Masters Degree in Information Technology and currently has a Bachelors Degree in criminal justice. My brother never said he was "on" a pain medication he simply said that he had been there before, as I said trying to show empathy.
I never herd [redacted] cry or saw here tears never received a ripping voice mail from her. She is correct that my primary business vehicle was destroyed in the middle of her project and after that I fell on the job and severed part of my right hand, Injured my right knee and arm. Thankfully the doctors put my hand together though I still do not have full use of it but its coming back.
Her project did over schedule. There may be a few loose ends that I need to tie up. For that I do apologize. ` I will be glad to inspect the site and see what if anything needs to be corrected.
