Here is a copy of the notes I received from those involved.I (General Manager) talked to him once and asked [redacted] (salesman) to follow-up. [redacted] tried repeatedly to discuss with him. With regard to the items he says we didn't do, our records show that we did in fact perform them properly. Apparently...

his driver got other repairs done on the road by another company and, unfortunately, got hosed. As a gesture of goodwill, we offered $2,000 to help out – even though the vehicle was sold by us “as-is” and we have a signed “as-is” document in the truck deal file.Any questions, let me know,[redacted] | Marketing Manager

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Please see the notes and documentation below-11-7-14 [redacted] emailed me and told me they could cut a check for $200011-8-14  I asked [redacted] to break that down to show me where that number came from11-11-14 I spoke with [redacted] and he told me that he would call me after hours to discuss because he didn't trust anyone who worked at JX.11-12-14 [redacted] sent a text telling me he would call me when he was in his car later that day.11-13-14 I left a voicemail asking [redacted] to call me.  He said he was in a budget meeting.  I jokingly told him to budget for an attorney, lol.11-13-14 [redacted] texted me back saying he wishes we never did the deal.  Have your attorney call me.11-13-14  I texted [redacted] and said:  Really?  Your going to be a coward and not talk?11-14-15 I texted [redacted] after work hours and asked if he was away from work and available to discuss.11-17-14 [redacted] texted me and said:  I'm not scared, just swamped!![redacted] did not try repeatedly to discuss with me.  He avoided the situation and that is why I am upset.  He wasn't too busy to make the sale. But, he was too busy to follow through.  I never disputed the $2000, I just wanted to talk to him about it.  With regards to the repairs, either JX did not perform the repairs, or they used inadequate parts and techniques.  The same repairs and part numbers had to be re-done 11,000 miles after JX "completed"  the repairs.  The repairs were done at another [redacted]bilt dealer in Arizona.  [redacted] knew about the issues the entire time and was going to "take care of me".  All I ever wanted was a call to discuss.

Review: We purchased a truck from JX Truck Center. There were things that needed to be fixed and they said they completed those repairs. I have invoices from them stating they performed the repairs. 11,000 miles later, some of the same repairs that they showed they completed, had to be re-performed at another [redacted]bilt Dealer. We showed them the repairs that were supposedly done in Wausau, and they stated that those repairs had not been performed. I have tried contacting JX Truck Center in Wausau and they will not return my phone calls. I asked them if we could discuss the issues, and they have not returned the calls. They offered me $2,000 in "good faith" and I asked them if we could discuss that number because it does not cover what they said they had performed. I contacted their corporate office and spoke with [redacted], the marketing director on November 19th. He stated that he would look into it and apologized for the lack of customer service. I did not hear back from him or anyone. So, I called [redacted] again on December 1st. He stated that it was probably lost in the mix due to the holiday. He said he would look into it again. I asked to please pass a message along to [redacted], the President to look into this matter.Desired Settlement: I want them to acknowledge that they did not perform the repairs they said they did and pay for the repairs that had to be re-completed. At the very least, I would like them to show some courtesy and customer service and discuss the matter.
