Review: I dropped my car off on March 24, 2015 to see if I needed a new transmission. One week later I told them that they could go ahead and fix it because I was unsure if I wanted to spend that kind of money. On April 29th my mom had called to see if my car was done because I was using her truck and it needed work done on it. On Friday May 1, 2015 I called and asked if my car would be done. I was told that it would be done between 4 and 4:30. When I arrived the car was not working. I told them I really needed my car and if they couldn't fix it, I would have to buy another and they would have to wait to be paid whenever they did finish it. One of the mechanics said he needed the money and would stay and fix it. When I came back the place was deserted. The following Monday I called and again was told it would be done between 4 and 4:30. I called Tuesday morning May 5, and was informed they were putting the part on after they unpacked it because it had just arrived. The woman said she would call back in 15 minutes. She never did, so I called her. After several times of being told she would call, and never did I headed over and paid for my car. Two days later it was not running. I had to have it towed back to them for repairs. I stopped in to see what they had found and the owner informed me that it would set him back a week for him to do whatever it was he had to do to figure out the problem. I also asked him about the Friday the mechanic was supposed to have stayed. He said my car was not able to be fixed and needed a new part. when I asked why I wasnt called he told me it was a Friday they don't stay late on Friday. I was also told if my mom hadnt called 3 times a day it wouldve been done quicker.Three weeks ago he told me he was going to put a used transmission in and reimburse me the money I had paid for a rebuilt transmission. So it is now July 15 and I still don't have a car. Apparently he does not want to refund my money because he had tried several other parts that just aren't fixing the problemDesired Settlement: After nearly four months and having to buy another car I would like my car back, fixed or not with a full refund. They knowingly gave me my car not repaired, and took my money. I've paid insurance on two cars for three months and a car payment for 3 months which I really shouldn't have had to buy.
