Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Scott was wonderful and I enjoyed interacting with himBut, as explained in my initial complaint, his employer knew that I expected this service to be several hundreds of dollars (with a worst-case scenario of it being two times the $that others I knew had paid)I'm not one of the [redacted] millionaires who thinks there is no difference between $300-$versus $1100-$(I never eat out, haven't treated myself to the movies in two years, etc)--- every penny impacts my ability to provide for my familyThe worst part of all of this is that the expensive complication was moving the router so that the nursery's camera would work, and the signal from the router still is not strong enough for the nursery's camera to consistently work (so it wasn't worth it for the router to be moved to that location)The big picture is that I bought the set of cameras that the store markets as "easy to install," I specifically let this business know that my budget was tight, I definitely had no idea that I might be asked to pay times what I originally expected to pay, and I never would have agreed to the service if I had known that it would cost that much(If I had waited another week, I could have had a friend who is a licensed electrician install it for free.) They charged an amount that I cannot afford to payPaying half their invoice would still be above what I expected, but if I had to compromise, the most I should have to pay is half (especially since the nursery camera still doesn't work) Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because:Scott was wonderful and I enjoyed interacting with him. But, as explained in my initial complaint, his employer knew that I expected this service to be several hundreds of dollars (with a worst-case scenario of it being two times the $300 that others I knew had paid). I'm not one of the [redacted] millionaires who thinks there is no difference between $300-$500 versus $1100-$1300. (I never eat out, haven't treated myself to the movies in two years, etc)--- every penny impacts my ability to provide for my family. The worst part of all of this is that the expensive complication was moving the router so that the nursery's camera would work, and the signal from the router still is not strong enough for the nursery's camera to consistently work (so it wasn't worth it for the router to be moved to that location). The big picture is that I bought the set of cameras that the store markets as "easy to install," I specifically let this business know that my budget was tight, I definitely had no idea that I might be asked to pay 4 times what I originally expected to pay, and I never would have agreed to the service if I had known that it would cost that much. (If I had waited another week, I could have had a friend who is a licensed electrician install it for free.) They charged an amount that I cannot afford to pay. Paying half their invoice would still be above what I expected, but if I had to compromise, the most I should have to pay is half (especially since the nursery camera still doesn't work).
