Charged a service call fee when I had never been told there would be a service charge.
Set an appointment in mid January for February 6. Have 1/2 of a xxxx window that is rotten and needs replacing. Was never told that there would be a service fee. When their representative came he gave me a quote on replacing the 1/2 window and then charged me $142 "trip fee". Not wanting to deal with this person I gave him my credit card #. Today, after many attempts, was able to reach a manager with this company. He told me that I agreed to pay this fee when I made the appointment and this was noted but there is no voice record that I did agree to this only notes made by the appointment maker. He said they wouldn't wave the fee.
