They installed a roof on an apartment building with a 20 year warranty. We started to have leaks after 5 years. The company will not respond to us. We have contacted the company about the warranty and they said they would come out but then never showed. We had to physically go to their address to contact them. They disconnected their phone so we could not reach them. We had another roofing company come out and found that the product they used was only applied to a 50% thickness as required by the manufacturer. They didn't do the original work properly and have failed to honor their warranty. Desired SettlementWe are seeking them to either come out and fix the roof by applying the product correctly according t the manufacturer's specifications. We have lost money due to the damage for leaks into occupied units. If they are unable to fix it then we will request them to pay for another firm to do the work we originally paid them to do correctly.
