I appreciate you taking time to respond to our concerns.  I have attached the pictures above to show the areas of concern since there seems to be question surrounding my exact issues with the community.  I hope that my husband and I brining these concerns to your attention does not cause...

any sort of retaliation on us.  Please understand that we just want to live in a community that values the up keep and appearance as much as we value the places we live in….hopefully we can find some sort of resolve. 1)      Homeowner Tree – We spoke to someone with Beazer a few days ago and he made it clear that even though the tree may have been planted incorrectly and he can see we maintain our yard, the warranty is only 90 days.  As a result, even though the tree has not even reached nor started its growing potential within that 90 day timeframe, we are responsible for any issue there after….it’s not right but okay we have to except that and eat that cost because what we will not do is have a sore eye in front of our property. 2)      Compliance- 34953 Open Range Drive, please see pictures above.  As you can see from the pictures plus I can attest that this property has not been maintained for well over 6months or more.  My mother stays a few doors down and another family member also lives on that same block (we referred them to this area) and we all watch this property and it has not been touched.  I am not sure who is inspecting but this issue is more than 2weeks overdue.  I think everyone should be held accountable – in my area both my neighbors on each side of me ensure we keep our property up because its helps the overall community and resale value versus having things that look run down in the community.  Let me know if you need my help addressing this issue with this homeowner because I have no problem holding people accountable!3)      Wall Painting – This is not an issue nor concern for us as of yet but we are watching.  I know that a while ago someone spray painted the walls on Open Range Drive entry and it stayed that way for a while before you all finally painted it.  Hopefully, in the event this occurs again, your response time will be quicker because one would assume we have criminals or thugs in the community if they see that.4)      Granite Replenishment- This is also not an issue for us, however, walking around you do see and notice the weeds growing in between the granite or rock area.  I know for a fact this stems from not being maintained because weeds nor trash should be found in those areas on a regular basis if the grounds are being kept properly.  Please see pics….I was on my way to work so I did not have time to get more examples but I am sure or hope you have been out here to look at the property recently, as you can see the areas with weeds growing which is a concern.5)      Lawn/Tree/Scrub Maintenance-  Where do I start….please see pictures attached.  While we understand you may or not be going for the desert look, it is not being done properly.  You can clearly see from the pictures attached, mainly from the entry way on Empire (both sides and the area behind the new homes you all are building) that you all started a project and did not maintain it or see it through so as a result it turned into dirt, weeds and etc.  This is not normal and it is no verbiage you can use to make us believe that this was intentionally done….we can bring landscapers in to also confirm this.  As I mentioned previously, someone needs to decide whether or not you all will carry out a desert landscape or spend a little extra money to clean that are out, put an irrigation system in, sod and rock/granite the rest but in its current state it looks like a landscaping project gone wrong.  Even if you go with a desert landscape you need to gut that area out, put rock and bushes down- if done properly it won’t grow weeds in the magnitude it currently is. I know it is not easy nor cheap to maintain the property, however, if you all hold the landscaping company, homeowners and yourselves accountable for the wellbeing and upkeep of the community it will drive property value up and attack more people to our community.  I can honestly say that I am not the only person with the same concerns in the area and will be more than happy to go door to door to take surveys, petition or etc. as a means to show you we all have similar concerns.  Also, my husband has attended some meetings and he did say people brought concerns up – similar to ours but nothing done or their concerns were blown off.  As a result this deters people from attending future meetings because we don’t feel our voice will be heard.  Also, the meetings are scheduled during a time that most adults are working per my husband.  I am sure you all responding to my inquiry is just standard protocol but I am not sure that anything will actually be done until someone up high enough in a position within your company shares our same concerns takes action.  It’s sad people pay this amount of money for a home and you see surrounding communities charging the same for their homes and giving their residents more and maintaining the property better. Thank you  Soniqua W[redacted] ###-###-#### office###-###-#### fax
