My husband and I are the owners of [redacted] ,and [redacted] , LLC, both located at * We had a solar system to generate electricity installed at [redacted] in November of This system was purchased from CNY Solar; the salesman who sold us this system was Jacob One of the reasons we decided to install the system was to allow us to decrease the electric bill for our business by removing a demand charge from [redacted] ***, our electricity supplierWe were told by the salesman that the demand charge is levied when a commercial account uses more than 2000kwh per month, and if said account used less than 2000kwh there would be no demand charge levied [redacted] was averaging a little under 2700kwh per month in the year before we had the system installed, and averaging $per month for the demand charge The original salesman, Jacob, told us the solar system we were purchasing would produce enough electricity to eliminate demand charges
