By February our driveway was starting to chip and pit. I notified them of the issue and they claimed it was due to salt. I have never put any salt on the driveway and the street has tons of salt put on it and it is not showing any wear like my driveway. The pitting and flaking has continued throughout the summer and I now have hundreds of holes in my driveway. K. Hov has not come back out to inspect it again even after several continued complaints. In addition to the pitting and flaking there are two large areas that are a completely different color and the overall color of the concrete is much whiter than any of the other driveways on the street.
We understand that the owner does not agree with US. The owner must follow the Home Builders Limited Warranty process for dispute. We will assist the owner as needed to begin that process. We will not offer a different resolution at this time. This batch of concrete is bad. It most likely sat on the truck too long and water was added later to soften it up. There is significant pitting and the concrete needs to be tested or replaced.
