Maynard Select did an excellent job of replacing an HVAC unit that was struck by lightning
After the installation, one of their installers called to follow up to make sure everything was done right
This kind of service is rare now

Improper and delayed installation of AC/Heat. Have been responsive to communication and issues.
5/14/14: estimate delivered for Trane brand AC/Heat unit and scheduled for 5/27/14 install.

5/27/14: on date of install, technician's arrived and removed old unit; when installing new duct-work from unit to house, I asked them about their method, was told they were "hand fashioning" the work, as they did not have the "proper tools" for the job (a metal brake which "could not be found"). I asked if this would be a proper installation, and they admitted it was "less than optimal." I asked them to stop work until the proper tools could be found, they complied; however, this meant finding last minute housing for myself, wife, and 3 month old child as they would not be able to complete install that day (I could not be overnight without AC for my child's sake).

5/28/14: tech's arrived the next day with proper tools, completed unit/duct install, but had to install temporary thermostat which was not the one quoted as the one they brought was "bad"

6/11/14: despite multiple promises of thermostat install and missed appointments by Maynard, the correct thermostat finally installed. 100% payment supplied to Maynard in form of check.

10/1/14: Maynard tech arrived for fall inspection, heat will not work. Maynard tech himself admits that thermostat wire is bad, and the original install tech "jumped" the system so the AC would work, but that the heat likely never worked.

10/3/14: Maynard tech/crew arrived and install new thermostat wire and ensures is properly installed.

Presumably the heat and AC are both working now. Have had no further issues with them as of this time.

Maynard has always been quick to respond to emails and apologetic for their errors. Have offered to extend warranty at their cost. Upper management has been to house to supervise work on multiple occasions, although some of the errors mentioned above occurred with management on-site. Have given us gift certificate for "date night out" since have had difficulty with transaction.
