I agree with the review on the Revdex.com website, which states to RUN from this company.
Highlights: K and K is difficult to work with; they try to swindle their way out of paying claims; the process took too long and too much effort; the amount of active diligence on my part to get what I was owed was huge
While they are not my insurance carrier, my son broke his arm at a facility they insure. The broken arm happened in April 2014. It is January 2015 and I still have not been reimbursed for all of my expenses. It took longer than the "30 days from the date of completed items received" for me to receive payment.
They asked me for the same information, over and over again. More than once, I was told they already paid me for a claim, which they had not. Claims on the same day, but for different expenses seem to confuse them. K and K employees, with whom I dealt, had a difficult time understanding the difference between a doctor bill, a bill for an x-ray and a bill for medical supplies.
When I submitted my 2nd claim which was for less than the first claim, I was told, "We have already paid you $$$, which is more than what you are asking for now". Well, yes, but they have to reimburse me for ALL of my claims, not just the first one, even if the first one is more expensive.
Also, they were so late on paying what they owed to the Doctors. I received many "LAST NOTICE" bills from the doctor and repeated calls from the Doctor's billing office requesting payment. How embarrassing to some one who is never late on bills.
Frustrating. The number of phone calls, faxes, emails over 8 months to get K and K to do their job is unacceptable.
If you have the choice, do not choose this company.

The cheer program at my daughter's school required that we purchase the [redacted] insurance coverage offered through K & K Insurance, even if the child was covered under another insurance plan. It figured, my daughter fell from a stunt during the time we had a lapse in insurance, so I filed a claim with K & K for her urgent care visit. What a nightmare! Long, looong story short, after 7 months of back and forth with this company, they finally paid [redacted] of a [redacted] bill. A bill that according to their policy paper work should have been paid in full. But after wasting countless hours dealing with them over 7 months, I was too tired and aggravated to start the appeal process, which I get the feeling is their game all along. RUN from this company, they are not worth the hassle!
