Customer came in complaining about low oil on vehicle but when we diagnosed is there was not only coolant in there but also fuelMotor is close to needing to be redone and the motor would end up locking up on himHe have me his warranty info and that was hand written and not the actual
paperwork and tried to call number given to me and the phone number was wrong and I believe he switched numbers on meA couples days later his girlfriend gave me the right numberIt was a different number than what on paper and called the phone number and warranty wouldn't cover because vehicle was not left hereWhen I Told him the vehicle was not here that automatically made him unable to use his warrantyCustomer was upset

I FIRST MET WITH [redacted] AROUND THE BEGINNING OF JULY WHEN HE STOPPED BY ONE AFTERNOON AND ASKED ME TO TAKE A LOOK AT HIS CAR WHICH I DID PERSONALLY. HE WAS TELLING ME OF A ISSUE WITH WHEN YOU PUT GAS IN IT, IT HAS STARTING ISSUES I IMMEDIATLELY KNEW...

WHAT THE CONCERN WAS I GRABBED ONE OF MY TECHNICIANS WITH OVER 30 YEARS EXPIERANCE AND WE BOTH HAD THE SAME RESPONSE. THE SUZUKI HAS A 3.6 LTR V6 GENERAL MOTORS ENGINE WITH A TIMING CHAIN WHICH WAS STRETCHED OUT AND LOOSE CAUSING THE TIMING TO BE OUT WHICH IS THE CAUSE OF THE HARD START AND ROUGH IDLE. I INFORMED [redacted] RIGHT THEN AND THERE IS WASNT WISE TO DRIVE IT COULD CAUSE FURTHER DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE. HE DIDNT HAVE THE MONEY AT THE TIME SO WE RAN A 3 PART FUEL SYSTEM CLEAN THROUGH IT AND IT BROUGHT POWER BACK TO THE ENGINE BUT WASNT A PERMANENT FIX. BEFORE HE LEFT MY STORE I QUOTED HIM A PRICE OF $1800 TO DO THE TIMING CHAIN SET AND ADVISED HIM THAT IF BROKE WHILE DRIVING OR KEPT DRIVING IT WOULD POSSIBLY CAUSE MORE DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE. HE ADVISED ME HE WOULD BE BACK IN TOUCH WITH ME.             MY NEXT CONVERSATION WAS WITH HIM ALMOST 3 WEEKS LATER WHEN HE STOPPED BY AND INFORMED ME HIS WIFE WAS DRIVING IT AND IT QUIT RUNNING WITH THE MESSAGE OF "LOSS OF POWER" COMING UP ON THE DASH. HE ADVISED ME IT WOULD BE TOWED TO MY SHOP THE NEXT MORNING. WE THEN HAD THE CONVERSTATION WITH IT NOT RUNNING IT HAS A 50/50 CHANCE OF HAVING FURTHER DAMAGE TO THE MOTOR ONLY WAY TO TELL FOR SURE IS TO REMOVE THE CYLINDER HEAD AND CHECK WHICH IS ROUGHLY 1000 IN LABOR. OR WE COULD GAMBLE AND JUST GO AHEAD AND DO THE TIMING SET AND HOPE FOR THE BEST. DECISION WAS MADE JUST TO HOPE FOR BEST AND GO FOR THE TIMING SET. PARTS WERE ORDERED WE TORE INTO IT WITHIN MATTER OF 5 DAYS HAD IT TAKEN APART, REPLACED AND PUT BACK TOGETHER THAT WAS A LATE FRIDAY NIGHT AROUND 6PM [redacted] HAD CALLED I ADVISED HIM WITHIN A MATTER OF 30 MINUTES IT WOULD BE READY FOR START UP. WHEN THAT TIME CAME WE HIT THE KEY AND THE WORST HAPPENED STILL A NO START BUT WOULD CRANK. PERFORMED A CYLINDER COMPRESSION TEST NOW THAT WE ACTUALLY HAVE CRANK AND CAME UP WITH 80 PSI ON CYLINDER 2,4, AND 6 WHICH SHOULD HOLD AT 160 PSI. WHICH TELLS US THE VALVES ARE BENT BECAUSE IT CAME SO FAR OUT OF TIME THE VALVE TRAVELED FAR ENOUGH TO HIT THE TOP OF  THE PISTONS. THEN I INFORMED [redacted] THAT IT WOULD BE A SIMPLE FIX AND WOULD TAKE THE PRICE UP ABOUT ANOTHER 2000. FOLLWING MONDAY I CALLED TALKED TO MACHINE SHOP THEY SAID THEY COULD FIX THE HEADS IF I COULD FIND THE PARTS WHICH I TRIED ON 3 OCCASIONS AND FAILED ON 3 OCCASIONS. 8-20-2015 I HAD LEFT THE SHOP ON A PERSONAL MATTER AND JUST RETURNED LAST TUESDAY WHEN IMMIEDTLY I GOT [redacted] SUZUKI BACK ON TRACK AND DONE. THERE WERE MANY COMPLICATIONS IN MY ABSENCE AND THAT IS 100% OUR FAULT HOWEVER THE PHONE WORKS BOTH WAYS I INFORMED HIM AND EVEN THOUGH BRANDON WASNT THERE IF I WAS HONESTLY THAT CONCERNED ABOUT MY CAR I WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE AT THE BUISNESS TALKING WITH THE OWNER AND MAKING SURE IT WAS BEING DONE. ALSO I HAVE A BILL WHICH YOU WILL FIND ATTACHED THAT IS FINAL AND ITEMIZED WITH ALL THE CURRENT PRICES AT OUR NORMAL COST THERE IS ANOTHER BILL ATTACHED WITH 2000 LESS THAT WILL BE THE ONE [redacted] WILL OWE FOR WHICH IS MY COST OF 3800.              MY ARGUEMENT TO [redacted] IS IF WE WOULD HAVE FIXED IT AT THE BEGINNING OF JULY LIKE BURNETTS SUGGESTED WE WOULD NOT BE HERE TODAY HAVING THIS CONVERSSTAION TRYING TO GET SOMETHING FOR FREE. ANY OHTER SHOP IN TOWN WOULDNT HAVE GONE TO THE LENGTHS WE HAVE TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN. AS A BUISNESS WE STILL HAVE TO GET OTHER CARS IN AND OUT BUT ALSO NOT PUT OFF OTHER CUSTOMERS BUT EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE YOULL GET A PERFECT STORM WHICH IS WHAT WE HAVE HERE AND THE CUSTOMER IS JUST AS RESPONSIBLE AT THE BUISNESS.
