Company's response below:From: [redacted]>Date: Tue, Feb 9, 2016 at 1:30 PMSubject: Complaint ID [redacted]To: [redacted]Good afternoon,We have received the complaint and are responding as follows. We were unaware of the vehicle having problems prior to...

the sale. Had Mr. [redacted] brought the vehicle in or contacted us about it we would have tried to resolve the issue. As soon as Mr. [redacted] called us and informed us that the engine was blown, we called and purchased a new engine for this vehicle. Mr. [redacted] is aware of that. When Mr. [redacted] called us to tell us about the engine problem, the owner, [redacted], immediately told Mr. [redacted] we would fix it. We called and spoke to Mrs. [redacted] to try and follow up and resolve the problem.  It is out of our control to fix something that they never given us an opportunity to fix. We received the initial call complaining about the engine, purchased an engine for the vehicle 2 days later. We informed Mr. [redacted] when he called that we would be purchasing an engine for the car. We do not sell lemon cars. Even though the used vehicles are sold without warranty from our dealership ( we do sell 3rd party warranties) Mr. [redacted] always does his best to ensure that customers are happy with their purchases.  Mr. [redacted] could have reached out to us when the car first had a problem and we would have tried to resolve it immediately.  It was explained to us on 2/8/2016 by the 3rd party warranty company [redacted] that the car was ran without oil and that was what caused the engine to blow. The engine was not knocking or tapping prior to delivery of this vehicle. Mr. [redacted] was aware that we were getting another engine for the car, yet choose not to let us put it in. Followed by contact on Friday 2/5/2016 by  [redacted] via text message cursing and demanding that we fix the vehicle. After we had already spoken with both Mr. [redacted] and his [redacted], offered to repair the vehicle and no one brought the vehicle to us for repair or let us know the location of the vehicle so we could get it and repair it.Thank you,[redacted]
