Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: l was contacted after my complaint was filed with the email the company had attachedHis claim is just plain ridiculous! "Somebody removec them, somebody stole them..." They never were installed, he may have an invoice for them, he may have even had them, but one thing for sure is that they weren't put on MY gutters!! The emails submitted by Mrs [redacted] are correct, Once I had received notice from the homeowner that she believed the screens had not been installed I added her to our schedule so that in case they had not been, she would not have to wait several weeks or a month before we could do the workWe are currently several weeks to over a month out on gutter work once scheduledOnce the homeowners job file and gutter installation sheet were found and discovered that the screens had been installed that is when we emailed back to the homeowner about our verification on the installationIt is then after this email was sent that we received the Revdex.com complaintIt is my belief that once we informed Mrs [redacted] that the screens had in fact been installed, that she then filed the complaint to the Revdex.comI have previously submitted a copy of this email sent to Mrs [redacted] along with our installation sheet that shows the gutters and screens were completed back in November We have also since given Mrs [redacted] the option to remain in the schedule and to have new screens installed again at her expense (we could even honor the pricing from years ago) or to be taken off of the scheduleMrs [redacted] chose to be taken off of the schedule and not to have the gutter screens re installed.I cannot tell you what happened to the screens in the almost years since installation, however we are not responsible for whatever has happened to them since it appears to be from either work of others or theft.Thanks, [redacted] KMI Construction314-267-

I had actually emailed the customer back on this prior to receiving this messageWe were contacted about a month back by Mrs*** about this matter that did not seem correctI was able to pull in our system the old job file and notes on the project and verify that her gutter screens were in
fact installedI have informed the homeowner of this and have a copy of the email that was sent to her belowWe cannot warranty the removal of gutter screens by others or even a possible theft if that is what has occurred. Here is a copy of what was sent to the homeowner."***,I actually meant to email you yesterday but haven't been in front of the computerI was able to confirm through our gutter order and the post gutter invoice along with our completion inspection that we did in fact install the gutters and gutter screens at the same time back in November I do not know if you have had work done on the house where for any reason they would have been removed, or if even anything has been stolen from you property but I would have no other explanation of why your gutter screens are no longer in the guttersI have had customers who have caught people steeling gutters, downspouts, and gutter screens in the past so it wouldn't surprise me if that were the caseI also have noted that I gave you an estimate for some siding work that we never did, my only other idea would be that if you had another company complete siding work that removed and reset the gutters that maybe the screens were not put back inOther than that I'm out of ideas of what could have happened to them for you.I can keep you on the schedule for new screens if you wish, however it will be invoiced out as a job since they were installed originally back in when all the work was completedI actually was the one who completed the inspection once the work was completed because you had contacted me to make sure that the shingles were going to lay down flat and sealNormally it would have been someone else but I actually did the inspection on this one sense I was coming out to look at your shingle sealing question.Let me know if you wish to keep the screens on the schedule or not.Thanks again,-*** ***KMI Construction*** " If any further documentation is requested let me know and I can get it provided.Thanks,-*** ***KMI
