The purpose of this e-mail communication is to address the latest response received by **, manager/owner of K&M Towing Automotive in connection with the subject Revdex.com ComplaintA response was sent through the Revdex.com website not accepting this latest response but I’m not sure you received it within the 30-minute allotted timeframe. The following are the discrepancies between the facts of this complaint and the owner’s response: This company’s recording keeping is lax to say the least. This owner is not even talking about the correct vehicle in the first section of his response. The vehicle owned by *** ***, which is one of the vehicles that was improperly towed by this company, is not a Kia Forte and does not have an Ohio license plateIn his response, he states this vehicle was not towed for not having a visible parking permit tag yet in his response to the second vehicle, he states "we showed her that she did not have a permit and that she was in the wrong". This vehicle absolutely has and has had a visible parking tag. So, he is saying ***’s vehicle didn’t have a parking tag but they didn’t tow it because of that but ***’s vehicle, which did have a parking tag that they obviously didn’t walk to the front of the vehicle to see, was towed for that reason. ***’s vehicle has a Pennsylvania license plate not an Ohio plateHis four-way flashers were definitely on in the vehicle as he only ran into the apartment to make a sandwich to take back to work with him for lunch. In the amount of time it took him to park his vehicle, enter his apartment, make a sandwich to take back to work and return to the parking lot to leave for work, his car was gone. The second vehicle he addresses is the Chevy Impala owned by *** ***. This vehicle was parked in the parking spot that *** pays for monthly which is directly behind the *** bldgshe lives in. This spot was assigned to her by the property management company, *** *** *** She was not parked on *** property. If that’s what the owner of the towing company is claiming then they towed her vehicle to that property and snapped their pictures, then towed it to the garage. Her vehicle was in her assigned parking spot with a parking tag when her fiancée *** *** left for work the morning of April 24, which was at approximately 5:am. When *** left the apartment at 8:am, her vehicle was gone. There was a van, supposedly performing work on the rental properties, parked where her vehicle should have been. Their apartment and vehicles were at their address in Lakewood, Ohio not anywhere near the Cleveland line so if the tow company called these towings into the Cleveland Police they were in the wrong. Their apartment bldgand parking spaces are under Lakewood Police Department jurisdiction, not Cleveland Police Department. When *** contacted the Lakewood Police Deptthe woman in the office stated that they had not been notified by K&M Towing of them towing her vehicle and actually said "honey, it sounds like your car was stolen and you will have to come to the department and file a police report." No pictures were shown to either *** or *** by the towing company when they went to retrieve their vehicles and in fact, as stated in the original complaint, *** was told by the man at the towing company that they did not contact the police deptinforming them they were towing her vehicle which was a good thing because if they had she would have had to pay more than $to retrieve her vehicle as there are more costs involved when the calls are made to the police departments. Basically, they were trying to make her think they had cut her a break by not contacting the police. Just the fact they only will accept cash as payment for their towing service raises many red flags. 99% of people do not carry cash today and a credit card, debit card or check are acceptable forms of payment when dealing with reputable companies. There’s only one reason that I know of when people will only accept cash and that reason is not a good one

We are here do responed to the complaint was made against my company K&M TOWING AUTOMOTIVE INC. We are producing the phone record on the two calls that were made on the kia forte platenumber is *** ohio plateThis kia did not have a permit whick he wasnt towed for that .The man
that came and got the kia parked in a fire lane and was in the drive way of another propertyowner we towThere drive way for *** *** *** is on the other side of the building,and he didnt have four-wayson and we showed him pictures that he was in the wrong.Now the chevy impala plate number *** She was park on the *** *** at *** and didnot have a parking permit for the car to be parked on there propertyThis car is a out of state car aswellWe showedher that she did not have a permit and that she was in the wrongThose cars were called in to the cleveland police and those propertys are on lakewood and clevelands line so yes badge was the officer that had taken the call onthe impala,and the kia was badge ...We are doing things by the laws of impounding along with pictures and we callthem inNow she is Defamation of character right of my company this is why we have bad reviewsBecause people think theydont haved to follow rules and think they can park there car in a fire lanes or park without permits. Can I see a receipt for this vehicle please first time to my knowledge of knowing this so I'd like to see receipt of this vehicle so I can look in my file for pictures of the vehicle before it was towed please and thank you and I also my contact number is ***

The business provided Revdex.com with their response to the consumer's rebuttal via phone.Dwayne said he has told the consumer multiple times to go to the impound lot and police for help.Dwayne said the consumer can take his business to court

Hi, I have informed the other party numerous times that the damages where there prior to us towing the vehicle for the City of Cleveland Police. I have informed to go to lot 6 and request pictures of the vehicle coming and the to receipt where on the receipt both the lots 6 employees and...

the Cleveland Police both put on the receipt that "S&D 360" meaning there were a lot of scratches and dents in numerous places on the vehicle we did not damage the vehicle once again please go to lot 6 and the Cleveland police and request both the storage receipt  and the tow supplement page and pictures so this can be resolved.

The consumer stated he went to the impound on the Sunday after his vehicle was towed (His vehicle was towed on Saturday.)The consumer said he completed a damage form with the impound employee and was given a pic of his car being pulled into their lot by K & M, the consumer said the damage to his vehicle was already there by the time his vehicle reached the impound lot.The consumer said he does not feel the impound lot is responsible for the damage caused to his car.The consumer said both he and his sister have made multiple calls to K & M only to receive no help, he said K & M tells him to go to the impound lot and the impound lot tells him to go to K & M.The consumer said the business's claim about S&D 360 (scratches and dents all around his vehicle) is not a true claim, the consumer said the only damaged area on his car is where it was towed by the business.The consumer said he received a estimate of repairs from a [redacted] body repair shop, the consumer said he will send all of the information K & M is asking for.

was given to Revdex.com via phone.Dwayne W. from the business stated the consumer signed a damage waiver form releasing his business of any damages.Dwayne W. said he was the person who took the consumer's payment and had him sign the damage waiver form, he said he encouraged the consumer to take a look at his vehicle to check it out before signing the form.Dwayne W. also said the consumer should take his business to court if he feels he has a case against them.
