K O Contracting

Review: I am filling a claim against [redacted] of KO Contracting in the amount of $2,200.00 for a faulty re-installation of a skylight, which functioned fine until his crew extracted and reinstalled it (several times). He replaced our roof (with which we are extremely pleased), which has two skylights. The west one seems fine, but the east one no longer opens fully because the top and bottom braces are bowed. [redacted] came out, examined the situation and declared it beyond his capabilities

The only conclusion I am able to draw (and I am open to others) is that [redacted] the original glass company has no intention of repairing the faulty work/materials. Further, KO Contracting doesn't either. It sounds like so many other cases. My wife and I are Senior Citizens and this "sounds like" a classical case of elder abuse hoping we will just disappear into the night. Further, KO did allow us to deduct the $200.00 for the repair bill when one of their employees fell into our Internet satellite dish disrupting reception. For the skylight, though, they seem to think they are not responsible.Desired Settlement: $2,200.00
