Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The comments Mr [redacted] submitted are not accurate If I had gotten that kind of response and communication from him throughout this situation I would have not submitted a complaint, but I received empty promises then no communication at all He said his technicians have made two attempts to adjust the message board and that is not true, his technician visited once then told me he had to research the computer program which operates the sign because he was not familiar with it; then I never heard back from them with any update, other than a promise to come out again on a particular date, which resulted in them not showing up as they promised The sub-contractor Mr [redacted] refers to, and who seems to be the best choice to assist us since they installed the sign, is unwilling to assist us because their company owner says they were never paid for the job and therefore they will not assist us at all I have no idea of the details but this was his response to my request for their assistance What I expected was a professional interaction between two companies that conducted business with each other and what I experienced was little to no communication or updates for weeks I had to call up to times a week for several weeks to ask for someone to please return my call and it never occurred The morning that Mr [redacted] answered the phone he referred to me as a "Broken Record" (which was insulting because we had only spoken twice previously) he continued to say that he would fix it when he could fix it, then abruptly hung up on me As I stated previously, our company phone system records all calls and I am sure that I can provide his call if needed Mr [redacted] stated in his response that he was confident the matter would be resolved within the next two weeks, yet I have not been contacted at all for any updates since his response Again, all that was expected was a professional interaction and what I got was an insulting remark, a statement that our sign would be fixed when it gets fixed, and an abrupt haon the phone Regards, [redacted]

Thank you for your inquiry into this matterAs with most all disputes there are two sides to the storyWe contracted a well know sign fabricator to build and install a pylon at a tenant occupied building for our customerThe sign is comprised of two parts: a double sided internally lit identification sign and a double sided electronic message board
One side of the electronic message board is malfunctioningMy technicians have made two attempts to adjust the message board and have not found the problem causing the board to malfunctionWe have contacted the manufacturer and have been unable to speak with the technician that is more familiar with this particular electronic message boardWe have contacted the sub-contractor on numerous occasions to have their technician instruct us on the proper procedures to follow with this electronic boardSince the board is out of service warranty, they have been reluctant to provide the service for free
Finally, after several weeks, the technician has agreed to assist us by phone to troubleshoot the signWe are coordinating this with the tenantI am confident this matter will be resolved within the next two weeks
The tenant, who is not our customer, wants their sign to work properly, and rightly soThey have been patient to a pointThe new manager was not trained on the signOur phone conversations have, unfortunately, deteriorated and have become non-productiveIt is my sincere desire and intent to satisfy this situation as quickly as possible
