On regards to complaint #*** *** ***On 2-27-we opened up shop with a nissan 300zx on the street that did not run and has run for a couple of yearsWhen finally getting hold of *** ***, she said she thought the fuel injectors were badAfter a couple of hours diag, we came to
the conclusion that they were indeed badFuel injectors for that vehicle are very expensive around each x6= just for parts*** decided that was too much and went on e-bay and bought cheaper aftermarket injectors (Not OEM) that are know for a high faliure rateWe installed her parts knowing that I cannot warranty themAfter she picked up her car, 5-weeks she calls me and says that it is running roughI told her to get it towed to me if she cant drive it and if it was due to our repairs that the tow bill would be coveredShe said that she did not have the money for the tow and could I come take a look at itI told her that I would try to make it down to look at itBeing a one man shop it was hard to break away for a house call to garden cityI told her that she would have to get it towed up here for repairsAfter sereral weeks of waiting for her car to arrive she calls me to say that she wants her money back and that she had it towed different times to different garages without even letting me get a chance to make it rightShe said she didnt have money to tow it to me yet she towed it twice to other shops!! All I charged her was labor to install her parts and on the bottom of my invoices it clearly states that all warranty work shall be performed at my shop and cannot exceed the original cost of repairsAll repairs are covered by month of 12,milesShe states that we left hoses and clamps loose and broke a knock sensor wire, if that were the case it would have been covered by our warrantyI contacted my attorney about this matter and after looking over the facts he said she should have brought the car back for the repairs and choose not too, that is on her and no refund is justifiable in this caseAgainst my attorneys advise I still offered her half of the labor for the injector repair and offered to fix the supposed knock sensor that we broke, she declined and said that she didnt like my attitudeSo as you can see I clearly tried to resolve this issue, a person cannot take it somewhere else for warranty work that is covered by the original shop and then demand there money back, especially when they never even let us attempt to fix the issue. Thanks, -***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
He is correct that I could not afford to have it towed back to him again after paying him and that is why I had to wait to get paid so I could have the car towed to someone who could work on this car. I do not know why he would think I would send it back to him a second time to fix the problem he could not fix the first time. He did only do a poor job the first time but he also caused more damage by pulling out the knock sending wire. Why would I send it back to him as the first time he just created more problems with the car? I don't think anyone in their right mind would pay a second time to have more issues go wrong. I cannot keep having my car towed out to get it fixed when knowing that will not happen and more problems could arise as they did the first time. He did not say he would try to pick the car up he said he would pick the car up. We even put the key under the mat as that is what he requested and it was never picked up. He also had the car for a very long time and I did not have the time to wait another month for my car back. He should have just done the job correctly the first time and if he was not able to work on that style of car he should not have said he could. He offered to pay me back half of the invoice but $300.00 was not half of the invoice. If he is willing to pay actually half of the invoice I would take that at least so I can get the knock senor wire fixed correctly that he pulled out.
