Review: This photographer scheduled our session, which was then rained out. She still wanted to meet us because we were first time clients with her. So we agreed and we met at her home. She wanted the session fee upfront and said on her website (facebook) that this was her new policy. So we paid for our session which was to be rescheduled. We rescheduled it for the next week. On the day of our session, she messaged me an hour ahead of time changing the time to an hour later than initially scheduled (due to her children needing naps). We agreed reluctantly. Soon after she messages again, this time canceling our session all together, reason being she overbooked and had a bridal shoot that came first. She asks us to reschedule once again. At this time I told her that I would like a refund, which she then instructed me that her website (facebook) clearly states no refunds. So it looked like our only choice was to reschedule. Once again we rescheduled. The day came up and it was slightly raining, she messaged me saying "It's raining here". I messaged her back saying it had stopped raining and that we could go somewhere covered. She then told me that she was canceling all her appointments due to the fact that she did not have proper camera equipment for the humidity. So again she wanted us to reschedule. This was the last day our family was off on vacation so I explained that I really needed these pictures done today. I then found an inside venue and messaged her about it. She then told me that she had already cancelled her sitter. I asked if we could do it at a later time that day and she turned me down on every point. At this time, I was finished "trying to reschedule". Now I am out of a photo session if I don't reschedule (AGAIN) and she refuses to give me a refund. She offered me an extended session for free, but I really don't want to go through the struggle.Desired Settlement: I would like my $30 session fee refunded.
