Was refered to K & S through [redacted] Had doubts about them being able to get the problem fixed as late as it was Saturday, and my fears was rightThey told [redacted] he was afraid it was too late to get started and not finish before dark set in but would be here by am if not sooner to fix it the next dayNo show no call by 9:20, called [redacted] they could not reach this company either through varios numbers they hadFinally after waiting and no telling how many calls I made to [redacted] as well as to the company itself and [redacted] s call with out any response, they had to cancel the order and find another plumber actually willing to workIf they did not wont to work on the weekend fine just say so but dont think a person is going to be with out water for days on end and not hear back for a non caring companyI would nto recommend this business to my worst enemyVery unreliable and untrustworthy

Our washer overflowed into part of the basementThis company was contacted by the warranty service I have on my sewer lineI was hoping for same day service but the warranty service said the company could come the next dayWe didn't hear exactly when that would be but the technician did call when he was on his way, and did arrive near the end of the window promised by the warranty service (8-12)He was friendly and courteous, and had the sewer pipe unclogged (tree roots) within a very reasonable timeI was very pleased with his work, which was covered by the warranty(I am not sure if my name is on the company's invoice or not, but I was the one who was home and observed the work doneThe property owner is [redacted] , so his name may appear on the invoice.)

Hot water heater not working service man came out replaced a part, by the next morning hot water heater not working againspoke with office person the next morning asked the man to be sure he has the service man call before he comes because I will need to come home to meet himI can not be home for hours waiting on him, this is the window of time they gave meThe service man shows up at my door no telephone call before hand, I just happened to be home at that moment getting ready to leave againHe looks at my water heater, lights the pilot light and tells me its fixedI begin questioning him about what caused the light to go, because this is his second time out to my home and I am tired of taking cold showersThe service man then looks at me like I am stupid with a ugly mean look on his face and says "WHAT" making me feel like I have no business asking him any questionsI then told him to leave my home with that smart attitudeHe never apologizes just walks to his truck and leavesI could have lite the pilot light myself, he did not fix my water heaterThe disrespect of this young man in my home is unacceptable

This company was contracted by my home warranty company, *** They came out and told me that my garbage disposal needed to be repaired They then proceeded to tell me that the pipes under my kitchen sink were installed incorrectly and they would have to charge me an extra $to correct the faulty installation I knew this wasn't right because my home (a new construction) passed home inspection without any problems So, I secured a licensed plumber who told me that I was right There was no need to modify the plumbing The reason they were modifying the plumbing was because they were trying to install a cheaper model garbage disposal and that required plumbing modificationSo, of course they were passing the cost along to me If they had secured the same type of garbage disposal, there would have been no need to modify the plumbing which was not faulty and installed correctly I went ahead and didn't press the issue, but it was good to know the ethical character of the company So, on Friday, December 2, the company (K&S Plumbing) was scheduled to come out to my home between 8:00am and 12:00pm I took off work to wait for them and they never showed, nor did they call So, I called them around 12:15pm to obtain a status report They told me the assigned plumber was running behind Now, I understand things happen, but once the plumber saw that he was going to be held up, why didn't he call? Alternatively, why didn't dispatch monitor his whereabouts and call me Why would I have to call them? Well, they stated that they would locate him and call me back to let me know when he could come I waited and hour and received no call So, I called back and they said that he was still on the other job Again, why did I have to call back The lack of customer service and professionalism is profound So, then they proceed to tell me that he could come on Saturday, December 3, (today) between 8am and 9am I received an email at 5:35am, Saturday, December 3, that they would be dispatched between 8am and 10am So, it is now 10:50am and no one came out and no one called As I write this review, I am on hold with *** I don't want this contractor to ever come to my home again I see why their customer review rating is 70% NEGATIVE! They have cost me money and tried to charge me for something I didn't even need STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

I recently discovered two water leaks in my homeI have a contract with a home warranty company, and my service call for the repairs was given to K & S PlumbingOne of their plumbers visited my home twiceOn his first visit, he was unable to perform any work because he required me to move my sinks, cabinets, and plumbing away from the wall to locate the leaksDuring his second visit, he cut two holes into the plaster and wood walls in my kitchen and bathroomInitially, he said he was not authorized to cut into walls made of materials other than sheet rock
After an hour, he left, stating he was going to gather necessary materials to fix the issuesI then received a phone call from my warranty company saying K & S Plumbing requested an additional $to repair the kitchen leakNo information was provided on the repair of the bathroomI called K & S Plumbing to inquire about the feeI spoke with Kady, and she claimed the warranty company imputed the extra costI explained that my home was disarranged and wanted an explanation why the plumber left my home in shambles without first informing me of the possibility of an added cost before the work could be completedKady contacted the Service Manager, Steven, and said that he would call me to resolve the issueI have yet to receive a phone callI had to hire a contractor and plumber to restore order to my homeI would NOT employ this company again nor would I recommend their services
K & S Plumbing blamed their restrictions with my repairs on the warranty company; however, their business name and reputation are scarred for shoddy serviceNo respectable organization would subject their customers to such practicesDo NOT hire this company!

My warranty company assigned K & S to fix my leak It took them over a week to call to schedule an appointment - and this was after I called the warranty company to get another company assigned to my case In fact, I called K & S directly to try to schedule an appointment and they never returned my call An appointment was finally scheduled and I waited at home during the hour window A VM was left on my cell phone indicating they were 1/hour away hours later I finally called to see if they were still coming They claimed I had missed my appointment I was home the entire day, I did not hear them knock and more importantly, neither did my dogThey did not ring the doorbell, nor did they knock more than once evidentially However, the plumber took a picture of my front door to let his boss know he showed upI believe the plumber did not want to perform the work, especially on a Friday Another company eventually fixed my leak I believe K& S to be dishonest

I cannot say enough negative comments about this companyWe are currently on our third service call to fix one simple issueThe plumber was at least one hour later than the agreed upon four hour window every time
The first plumber carried a plunger all over my house with nothing around it to protect against contamination, and he got a hand towel out of my linen closet to clean up toilet water
The second time, two plumbers arrived late, were here for the better part of an hour and still didn't fix the fairly minor problem
I am currently still waiting on the third plumber to arriveHe's an hour and a half lateThe receptionist gave me his phone number, which he's not answering
I don't often leave reviews for companies, but have been unbelievably frustrated with the complete lack of professionalism from these peopleAwfulAwfulAwful

my hot water heater stopped working and had a small leak at the bottom of it. I called k&s plumbing and they sent a technician out the next morning. I was very surprised at how professional he was. my water heater needing replacing due to it leaking and could not be repaired. everything was explained to me (in lamens terms) and I was quoted a price to install a new water heater. I called two other local companies and got prices. k&s was not the cheapest but they did do more work then the other companys agreed to do, like sweep the work area after they were done and take the old water heater away. I would recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services!!

This company has the worst customer service I have experienced in my entire life...There is no one there to answer the phone, it doesn't matter the time of day you call, the answering machine picks up, asking you to leave a message and when you do, you never get a return phone call. My home warranty company sent this vendor to my home to service my hot water tank. According to K&S Plumbing 2 parts had to be ordered. Well it has taken over a week to get in touch with K&S Plumbing. I would not recommend this company to fix anything on a dog's home. These people are horrible. My home has been without running hot water over a week now.

This the second time I have had work done by this company and have not had a good experience with them. This time on December 18, 2017 (on a Sunday) our gas water heater went out. I called our home warranty to set up a service call. K&S came out on Monday and said the burner assembly would have to be replaced. I questioned the tech and said it was the control valve that controls the temp of the water. But he assured me it was not and the part would have to be ordered. The tech said the part was no where to be found in my home area. The next day I found out that K&S had not ordered the part, the person said the the person that orders the part does not come in until 5:00 PM each day. Each day I called and every time I was told the part was not ordered. I also called some appliance placed where I live and found the part locally in stock. Finally on Thursday December 22, 2017 They told me the part was ordered. I did get them to give me the location and phone number to verify the part was coming and the business said it would be here Friday by close of business. Well Friday came and the part was delivered at 7:00 pm. Now remind you we had no hot water for a week. and Christmas was coming and we were to have family 14 people were staying Saturday and Sunday for Christmas. So I installed the part, K&S said that the tech would be out on January 3, 2017. That was not going to work, so I installed the part myself. Well as of today the water heater flame has gone out of the newly installed part. Now to make things worse, because I installed the part and not K&S the warranty on the water is void. So I call a local plumber and he said it is the control valve, like I told the tech from K&S, would have to be replaced and the burner assembly was not the problem. We put the old burner assembly back in and replaced the control valve and it is working fine. I never want this company near my home ever again! Oh, I forget to mention that I am a retired plumber!

I took off the afternoon for these people to come to my house. My plumbing is basically shut down, I've waited for 5 days for an appointment. I asked to be called prior to coming to my house so I could meet them. They have called me twice to make the appointment but today they say they have the wrong number and won't come back. I was here at 1:00. I'm docked pay for missing work and now I will have to use the bathroom outside in my yard because they couldn't call the office and say "do you think you gave me the correct phone number?" Is.

Our service issue required two service calls to resolve: In both cases, every representative was courteous, efficient, and timely. Acquainted with this business via a service contract. Would definitely use them again and recommend to others.

K & S Plumbing has exemplified all of the aspects that a professional plumbing service could provide. They have been dignified, knowledgeable, punctual & extremely courteous to my plumbing needs. I would highly recommend K & S Plumbing for all of their services. Plain and simple, K & S Plumbing has my business as well as my clients, family members and friends for a lifetime. The rates & terms are absolutely the best!! I beleive that K & S Plumbing has made my troubles of knowing who to trust in this industry disappear. I had a difficult plumbing problem that they resolved with ease. After my experience, I call K & S Plumbing exclusively and you should too!

The young man failed to introduce himself and came into my home being very disrespectable and started talking to me in a way that was unacceptable and stated where is the problem and I tried to tell him and he immediately cut me off and accused me of breaking my own property and asked me how did the item get broken and then when I stated that I did not know what happened to the item, I was calling about a leak and he started saying that I would have to replace the item myself and I was about to address his negative and rude behavior and nasty tone of voice but he voluntarily stated that he was going to leave my home because it was nothing he could do for me and it has been a long day, even though I waited for him to come for about six hours, when he stated that he would arrive at my home much earlier. I would not recommend this company to anyone as a result of this type of behavior of this individual for no reason at all. I did contact the Manager/Contractor about the issues.
