By and between the disbursing company, the homeowners loan company, KVK construction and homeowners have been signedThere was not any time frame stated in any contract or in written form for this projectBecause of several impediments beyond KVK Construction Companys control this project took longer than we anticipatedFor example, KVK had all subcontractors lined up for start date of approxEnd of March/ beginning of April 2015, as requested by the homeowner, however the homeowner did not have all the architectural plans and construction loan readyStart date was then moved to July All subcontractors had to reschedule and commence working on other projectsThe rain we had in and into has been recorded as the wettest in StLouis history, causing holds on excavation and exterior buildingThroughout the project the homeowners struggled with making final decisions which continuously hampered time frameSeveral times throughout this project the homeowners made changes to items already constructed which hampered the time frame, in which KVK did not initially charge for additional labor or material costs involvedThe homeowners decided to change the architectural plans and while changes were made, work had to temporarily halt until architectural plans were back in KVK Constructions presenceKVK Construction Company has complied with every concern or demand by the homeownerThe homeowners both have yelled and been hateful to KVK Construction Company several timesKVK has kept professionalCracks originally found in the foundation wall were fixed and paid for by the foundation SubcontractorA meeting with KVK, the foundation contractor, the excavation contractor, the architect, two city officials and the homeowner was conducted. The homeowner throughout this project was informed of a water problem and possible effects on the foundation and had been given several solutions/bids to fix the problemThe homeowner made the choice not to sign any contracts and Page of not to have the work completed by the excavation company. The homeowner themselves hired an outside company to install a patio, which is below gradeIt will and is, causing additional water pressure and problems to the foundation as informed by the excavation and foundation companiesA high probability hydrostatic pressure has caused the additional leakingThe minor upstairs leak in the shower, the homeowner is referring to, had been addressed by KVK and fixed on August 24th, prior to the letter from the Revdex.comA small separation from the grout line underneath the granite formed and we have had it caulkedThe homeowner informed the subcontracted plumber that his children were messing around in the shower with the hand held sprayerThe diverter in the shower was also addressed by KVK and we had our subcontracted plumber fix it on August 23rd., prior to the letter from the Revdex.comKVK returned as per homeowners request three times to re-mud and repaint small spots that were either pointed out or had post it notes on areas of the drywall, even though these spots could not be seen at all by two of KVK employeesThe apparent spots were only visible at nightThe way the specific type of lighting projects on the ceiling at the homeowners possibly caused them to see minor bumps/ seams lines, which in not uncommon, non the less KVK came to repair the spots without debateThere were three tiny blemishes on the kitchen cabinets, one caused by the cabinet company manufacturer and two during installation by KVK, which can happen, that is why the cabinet company provides touch up paint for the installer. The homeowners were not satisfied, so KVK Construction Company paid a repair company to fix the blemishesAll three blemishes where fixedHomeowners were satisfiedWhen using a subcontractor, one must respect and follow their time frameAll items on the punch list and mentioned to KVK Contraction Company were completed without hesitation or any type of debateAt no time were the customers charge any additional costs to preform these minor imperfectionsKVK Construction Company has been insulted, yelled at and harassed by this homeowner. KVK Construction Company, to this day, has the same working office phone number and email address since 2001. The Homeowners have all the business contact information for KVK Construction Company and can reach us that way95% of contact from the homeowner has been through emailCell phones and their use are personal and discretionaryKVK Construction Company has not been hostile in any way through out this entire project and after completion with all the demands from the homeownerThe homeowners have refused to pay for some items performed by KVK, have yelled at the owners of KVK several times and demanded things and have been hateful and have made rude comments and demanded KVK to leave their homeKVK has continued to display a business attitude throughout this project and afterWe as KVK have always strived to please our clientsWe do not advertise and our business is built on referral onlyKVK schedules approximately six months to a year in advanceKVK takes pride in our integrity and high ethical standards in dealing with our clientsOur reputation for our referral only system, our long term relationships with our satisfied clients, and our excellence in our knowledge and delivery of the construction industry are our most valued assetsThe high quality results of our finished projects evolve from the attention to detail we achieve from pre-construction to completionBuilding lasting relationships is a vital part of our businessKVK Construction Company *** *** ***@sbcglobal.net

I am rejecting this response because:
KVK construction has not and continues to refuse to repair the problems stated in the initial complaint. Another contractor was told by KVK to repair damaged shower tiles caused by faulty installation by KVK. Pictures are included that show major concerns communicated to us by this contractor. You can clearly see that the tiles were not properly installed. Unfortunately, the whole shower was installed by KVK and already has several issues and has only been used times. When the contractor was at the home doing the repairs, he was informed that *** *** and KVK were now refusing to pay for any work and said they communicated with us about an agreed upon solution. KVK has had no communication with us as to what their solution would be. I had to take it upon myself to contact the shower glass company directly to get the damaged tile repaired and paid for by them, not KVK. Regarding the faulty tile work that caused a leak in our kitchen, KVK has never come to address the problem and have still not repaired the damaged drywall. One picture shows a section of tile that was never grouted at all. Pictures attached.Leaking foundation cracks were repaired by an outside contractor and paid for by the concrete sub contractor. Since those repairs, more leaks have occurred and further damage has been found. All of these issues occurred prior to the patio work that was mentioned in the response from KVK. KVK has done nothing as the general contractor to resolve any of these issues. We, the homeowners have consistently been told by KVK that we will have to deal directly with THEIR subs. During the meeting with KVK, architects, subs, city officials, and myself, it was recommended by the city officials that a structural engineer inspect the project to ensure it is even safe. That is how bad things look! However, over and over, KVK states that they are proud of the work done by their company. KVK damaged a cabinet drawer glide in our kitchen and have promised for
months to make the repair, but continue to ignore the problem and refuse to correct their mistake.Several times in the last few months, we have expressed concerns to KVK over the can lights they installed in the addition. Many of the fixtures overheat and turn themselves off. The response from KVK is that it is perfectly and refuse to address the potentially serious problemThe light bulbs in these fixtures were specifically chosen and installed by KVK. These fixtures have gotten so hot that they have changed to a yellow color. Pictures attached.Drywall and framing issues - Several areas of the addition have significant problems due to work done by KVK. When asked to repair these issues, KVK states that nothing can be done and that is just how walls are going to be. We have had to pay other contractors to make repairs to these brand new walls installed by KVK. Pictures attached. *** and *** *** (KVK Construction) have acted unprofessionally
towards me, my wife, suppliers, and disbursement representatives. ***
mentioned that he was asked to leave our home - That is correct. He was
yelling in the face of my wife, while we have a newborn baby in the
house. I had no choice but to ask him to leave. KVK remarked that they
have not changed any of their phone numbers or email accounts. ***
himself informed us at our home that he changed his phone number (the
only number he ever provided for contacting him), and would not give us
the new number. This is after several attempts by us to contact him
with no response. Numerous attempts to contact KVK via email go without any response. We are only to assume they have changed this account as well. This is one example of the many lies and misleading
information KVK continues to provide
