I was hired last summer to pour a concrete extension on Ms [redacted] ’s patio I was paid for the work I was hired to do During the job, we did discuss the possibility of the concrete being sealed and stained, which is an entirely separate job, but I was not hired at that time to do the job; and I am now too busy with long-standing commitments Ms [redacted] is able to have another contractor seal and stain her concrete Again, the sealing and staining is a separate job; and just as the contractor who puts in kitchen cabinets is not compelled to remodel a bathroom, sealing and staining was not part of my contract with Ms [redacted] With regard to the concrete cracking after only a year: All concrete cracks Usually within the first month of pouring

Review: I had requested new concrete to expand my pool patio in September of 2013 alongside previous concrete from previous home owner. The discussion entailed a verbal agreement that the concrete would be stained a dark color to blend old and new concrete after the concrete had set. In the spring and summer of 2014 numerous attempts were made to contact the owner Kevin, I received a short reply "there is a problem" & never heard from him again. I would have reconsidered the entire project if I had known there would be problems. Now no other company in town wants to touch some one else's work. I am now entering another winter without the concrete being professionally sealed and I have a patio that looks incomplete for my home. There is also cracks in the concrete at the edges after less than 1 yr of being poured.Desired Settlement: I would like the job completed!!! I want my concrete repaired
