I am rejecting this response because:
It is foolish and ignorant to think that a contractor or their sub-contractors and employees are actually going to admit that they have damaged any homeowner's property or stolen any homeowner's property It is not hard to believe that they denied everything Currently, we are waiting on the news media to come out to our home to view and inspect the damage of our personal property and the poor drywall work that KRestoration performed We have contacted seven news stations, four in the DC metro area, and three in the Baltimore, MD metro area.
Since the 6/26/26,revised invoice was done by Curt H***, drywall installation work done in the living room, dining room, the second level bedroom, the basement level hallway, and the second level hallway have begun to show seams, cracks, separations, peeling, and buckling or have gotten worse
The total drywall work for 6/26/$26,revised invoice is approximately $3, The total drywall work for 4/18/$27,estimate is approximately $3, That seems to be a very small credit given back to us for the atrocious drywall work. Please, by my quest Revdex.com and accept our invitation and come out to our home and see for yourselves up-close, before the drywall work gets re-done, the poor quality and unprofessional drywall work.
With me just going over the numbered line items on 6/26/$26,final revised invoice is the following:
Deduction for $ Charged back $to us - for the poor quality drywall installation work that has to be re-done Deduction for $ Charged back $to us - for the poor quality drywall installation work that has to be re-done Deduction for $ Charged back $to us - for the poor quality drywall installation work that has to be re-doneSo far, we have had five independent contractors come to our home and two gave verbal quotes and the other three contractors have to write up a detailed estimate for the drywall work to be re-done They all just shake their heads in disbelief and say that the initial drywall work is terrible Even the *** mortgage inspector stated the same observation. The process of having to schedule new independent contractors and wait on them to come out to our home is very time consuming and a huge inconvenience to us. It is very important to us that the drywall work has to be corrected and made right. We would not have to be going through none of this process if the initial drywall work was done correctly the first time.
We have had the final inspection of the property on 8/24/and pointed out to the mortgage company inspector the drywall damage that still needs to be fixed from the KRestoration contractors' initial drywall work He took alot of pictures The scope of work that he used for the final inspection did state that the carpet and carpet padding in the basement level was to be removed and replacedAny additional money due will not be paid until the terrible, horrendous, and unprofessional drywall damage (seams, cracks, separations, peeling, and buckling) is re-done in the house by the new independent contractors that first have to be approved by *** *** Insurance Company or court litigation or whatever comes first. *** *** Insurance Company stepped up and covered the losses for our personal property that was damaged, missing, and/or stolen and items reported on our Anne Arundel County Police Report. We do intend on pursuing court litigation to recover our deductible loss and tell of our bad experience and restoration nightmare. Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because:  It is foolish and ignorant to think that a contractor or their sub-contractors and employees are actually going to admit that they have damaged any homeowner's property or stolen any homeowner's property.  It is not hard to believe that they denied everything.  Currently, we are waiting on the news media to come out to our home to view and inspect the damage of our personal property and the poor drywall work that K4 Restoration performed.  We have contacted seven news stations, four in the DC metro area, and three in the Baltimore, MD metro area. Since the 6/26/15 26,000.76 revised invoice was done by Curt H[redacted], drywall installation work done in the living room, dining room, the second level bedroom, the basement level hallway, and the second level hallway have begun to show seams, cracks, separations, peeling, and buckling or have gotten worse. July 8, 2015Dear [redacted],I am writing this is response to a letter we received regarding ID# [redacted]. I have reviewed the Customer Experience Information sheet that you have provided regarding the customer's complaint. Our response is as follows:In regards to the estimate, the scope of work...

changed from when the insurance Company's adjuster first wrote his estimate and when I first visited the home, met with the customers and completed a walkthrough with the customers. Our estimate was submitted to the insurance Company for review, accepted and approved. After the estimate was approved, the customers decided they wanted to make changes to the actual Scope of work and repairs to their home. They decided they did not want to replace the carpet in the basement, since the carpet and pad were not removed during mitigation and they did not feel it needed to be replaced. A revised estimate was provided to the customers, which reflected the changes they wanted made. Credits were given to the customer resulting in a lower estimate amount. The carpet was not on the customers estimate for repairs, nor on the contract for repair services. The amount of the revised estimate is reflected in the contract signed by the customers. Since no carpet or pad replacement was requested by the customer or performed by K4 or our affiliates for the basement, the customer was not charged. After several meetings and conversations with our CFO, and our Controller, in regards to our customers, K4's decision is as follows:A.) Damaged Contents: 1. K4 will not be responsible for any damaged content items. We have spoken to all K4. Sub Contractors that had direct access to the home during the restoration process. All have denied causing any damage to any items that were allegedly in the home.  2. K4 does not feel that any items that the customer listed were damaged during the repair process by any K4 Sub Contractors or affiliates.3. We have photos showing the Condition of the structure upon our first visit to the home. We also have photos of some, but not all items that were in the home upon our first visit. Photos were taken during my initial inspection and meet-and-greet with the insured's. With both parties present during the walkthrough.  4. K4 has a photo that was taken by me upon my first visit to the home, of a black folding chair in the master bedroom that clearly shows the back of the chair missing. The customer claimed that K4, or a Subcontractor of K4, damaged one black folding chair. Only one folding chair was mentioned as being damaged. The insured was certain that this item, as well as all other items that they alleged K4 damaged, were in good condition before our involvement. The customer commented that nothing was damaged by any of the other contractors that they hired. Or by the mitigation company prior to K4's repair process. It is evident that the back of the chair was damaged sometime before, during or after the mitigation process, prior to any K4 repairs.  5. There were several other companies, hired by the insured, doing work at the insured's home before my initial visit. Any of which could have caused alleged damage to the contents. Therefore, it's very possible that the content items that the insured listed were damaged by other means, before K4 started any repairs.  7. There were some content items that that the customer requested to be removed from the premises, before any repairs started. The insured labeled and marked unsalvageable items, prior to any repairs being done by K4. The removal of those items was part of the final agreed scope and contract between K4 and the insured's. Those items were left for us in large trash bags and labeled as trash by the insured. Signs were left on the larger items, such as box springs, mattresses, bed frames and furniture to be discarded. Those were the only items that we disposed of.B.) Alleged Stolen Items: 1. K4 will not be responsible for any alleged stolen items. We have spoken to all K4 sub contractors that had direct access to the home during the restoration process. All have denied taking any items that were allegedly in the home. K4 does not feel that any items were taken during the repair process by any K4 Sub Contractors or affiliates. 2. The alleged items that the customer listed in their emails as being stolen, and in the police report, changed several times. Items that they first claimed were missing were later found by the Customer. 3. Whether items are actually missing or misplaced, there has been no wrong doing from K4 or affiliates. 4. K4 has provided Detective [redacted] with the Anne Arundel Police Department, the requested information for the subcontractors that K4 used, including company names, individual names and phone numbers. Based on my recent conversations with the subcontractors; the subcontractors have not been notified by the police department. There is still a large balance due to K4 Restoration for the repairs to the home. We will be invoicing the customer for the balance due in approx. 3 to 5 business days. If you need any further assistance or clarifications regarding this complaint, please Contact me directly.Sincerely,Curt H. Estimator/Restoration Manager

Curt H[redacted]Rockville, MD [redacted]Office: ###-###-#### Cell: ###-###-####Fax: ###-###-####Email: [redacted]@k4llc.comAugust 28, 2015Revdex.com1411 K. St., NW, 10th FloorWashington, DC 20005Dear [redacted],I am writing this is response to a follow up letter we received from you dated August 20, 2015, regarding ID# [redacted], for the additional concerns that our customer had regarding this case. I have reviewed their response. Our response is as follows:After the estimate was approved, the customers decided they did not want to replace the carpet in the basement, since the carpet and pad were not removed during mitigation and they did not feel it needed to be replaced. A revised estimate was provided to the customers, which reflected the changes they wanted made. Therefore the topic of the carpet was not ignored, but addressed according to the customer’s request to not replace the basement carpet or pad. Credits were given to the customer for the carpet and pad in the basement. The carpet and pad was not on the customers estimate for repairs that they agreed to, nor on the signed contract for repair services. Since no carpet or pad replacement was requested by the customer or performed by K4 or our affiliates for the basement, the customer was not charged. No comment was ever made by me to the customer’s about “keeping it between us and not let anyone else know”. Once a claim is settled and approved by the insurance company, the insurance company settles the loss, issues a check for the ACV (Actual Cash Value), less applicable depreciation, and sends a check to the homeowners. The claim is settled based on what the insured had in their home at the time of loss. If the homeowner then wishes to make changes to the actual scope of work to be done at their home, that’s their decision. That is in fact what the homeowners decided to do. Just as the homeowner commented, it was there decision not to have hardwood floors replaced in the living room, connecting hallway and dining room. They decided to have carpet and pad installed in those areas in lieu of the hardwood flooring. This is reflected on the estimate that they approved for work they requested at their home and on the signed contract. Just as in that decision, it was also their decision not to have the carpet replaced in the basement.      After follow up meetings with our CFO; and our Controller, in regards to this customer, K4's decision regarding damaged contents and personal items, continues to be as follows: A.) Damaged Contents:1. K4 will not be responsible for any damaged content items. We have spoken to all K4 sub contractors that had direct access to the home during the restoration process. All have denied causing any damage to any items that were allegedly in the home. 2.
