Truly it is irrelevant when this was noted by the customer because the damage [redacted] is claiming is not from an automated car wash [redacted] and I looked at cars going through the wash together, He could not explain how this was possible from a car wash and neither could I If we had a car wash failure(which we didn't) that damaged a vehicle we would sincerely apologize and take care of it

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: This response is not accurateIt did not take me days to notice the damageI noticed the next morningI stopped by the Kaady location in Tigard and spoke with the operator by the booth and he told me I would need to come back with the car as I was driving a different carI stopped by on Saturday with the car and the business was extremely busy with long lines so I came back again on Tuesday with carI spoke to a gentlemen named Steven on Tuesday and told him that when my car went through on the 19th it was unusually loud when I went through the car wash but hadn't noticed anything when I jumped out to look at it after the washHe took pictures of the damage which is very hard to see because the car is silver. Kaady also says I expect them to pay for the damage because I have been a long time customerThis is simply not true as they should pay for damage caused by there business whether I am a long time customer or first time customerI simply thought that they would value my business as most business's would$is not a lot of money but it is the principal that this business is not taking responsibility for damage they causedLook at responses online to other people that have damage with Kaady Car WashThey simply have their talking points that they are 100% they did not cause damageMy car was only dusty when I brought it in on the 19th and had not been driven in about weeks so there was not previous damage covered by dirt like they claim.
Sincerely,

In response to *** Claim: Upon inspection of her vehicle, there is major Impact damage that is directly related to the fog trim coming off her vehicle. The impact damage is not from a car wash, but is so significant there are physically pieces of plastic broken out missing(as well
as entire structural splash panel underneath that is completely missing). *** fog trim partially fell off because of the previous damage, not because of a failure in car wash equipmentWe washes cars that day without any claims against the car wash (except her claim) As posted at every wash, Kaady car washes is responsible for vehicles in factory condition for up to one year after the manufacturer's warranty/ previous damage known or unknown is at your own risk
Please confirm this emailAlso *** I need to know where you are sending these, I see this is another situation where the letter states you have sent us several notifications, yet we have only received this letter?
I sent a photo of the front bumper from a ground view, so you could see what we are dealing with

Respectfully, The damage customer noticed days after leaving the property is just not possible from an automated car wash I spent some time with customer and showed him the wash, and looking at it together(while cars were running through)he could not explain how the car wash could cause
this type of damage(and neither could I) I'm an expert on what the car wash can and can't do, and this damage is simply not from a automated car wash Mr*** is assuming the car wash did this and feels because he has been a using Kaady Car Washes for years and never had a problem he is entitled to have a unexplained $repair on us? Previous damage covered up by dirt and exposed when a car comes clean does not mean the car wash caused it We have not had any car wash failures and continue to wash Thousands of vehicles both before and after his wash without anyone else reporting anything even remotely like the damage Mr*** discovered days after washing

*** ***, a salvage titled vehicle that has been totally demolished and then rebuilt is at customers own responsibility as per our posted sign at the entrance of all our car washesThis is simply an improperly rebuilt Jeep that had loose parts not properly repairedAs with the other issues, unless there were actually a failure in the car wash that caused these issue, we don't cover rebuilding a vehicle that has already been rebuilt (and for profit I might add, which means they repair on a budget because every dime they can save is a dime in their pocket)

Inspected Jeep, as in photo's (circled in yellow) you can see the front core support has been cut out and welded back together, all the attachment points for the front grill (the part that blew off in the driers and was then ran over by [redacted]) have been pulled out where they are pressure fit from the...

factory with the retaining screw on the other side, so once these are pulled out, this panel should be replaced, but instead it appears to have been glued back together in some spots. I ran a car fax and this has been (in car Fax's own words) completely destroyed and then rebuilt and put back on the road, customer was aware it is a salvage title car. I explained to him that this damage is not due to a car wash malfunction or were we  negligent, the car wash simply exposed a pre-existing problem and it is not an issue I can help out with, I then referred him to our sign that I have attached below that states, customer is responsible for previously damaged equipment not repaired to factory specs. He has turned this over to his insurance and they are in contact with our insurance for arbitration.

I am rejecting this response because: We looked through the glass and saw the wheel turning. I spent less than 10 minutes with you. You would not listen to anything I said.  Anything I said on how the damage could have been caused you countered with "I am 100% sure the washer did not cause it. Well I am 100% sure the wash wheel was the only thing that touched the top of my car!
Sincerely,

Response:  Unfortunately we get a lot of blame for issues that are not related to a car wash. In a case where someone has recently purchased a vehicle and feel they had closely inspected it prior to buying it, then over a short period of time they start noticing blemishes they hadn't noticed...

before, the car wash usually get the blame. This is largely due to how the previous owner covered up the cars blemishes or previous damage. In most cases, when your going to sell a car, you want it to look as good as possible, so you have the car detailed or cleaned up. There are numerous products available to cover up blemishes, most of these products wash off over time. As they wash off, these blemishes show up, however because it is noticed when the car is freshly cleaned, the car wash seems to take the blame. As I always do my best to educate people in these matters, sometimes peoples minds are made up and I am unable to get thru to them. I am not always successful and I can not please everyone all the time.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: They only responded to  the part about the scratches on my car it does not cover anything about their employees customer service issue.  Once again I will mention how I felt a unusual bump while in the car wash and how once I was out there was a fiber from their car wash jammed in the hood of my car. The response given is generic. I feel I was wronged by Kaady Car Wash but on top of that I feel they have some one in charge of seeing clients with these issue who is rude, not respectful and honestly one of the worst customer service people I have met. On a side note a different gentleman called the other day after me having post on here and emailing them wanting to once again see my car and explained they do not want to lose customers. While I feel he tried its a little to late. I will not waste my time any more with a company who treats customers so poorly....
Sincerely,[redacted]
