Kabab King

Review: Hello, Sir or Madam:

I called Kabab King on the night of November **,2014. I placed an order over the phone with the employee name [redacted] I placed an order for a whole Turkey to be picked up by my brother at 2pm the next day. I placed the order with the name [redacted] which is my middle name and [redacted] asked for my phone number as well. I gave him my cell phone number so right now everything seem professional.

[redacted] told me that I should call before my brother leaves the house to pick up the Turkey. I called the next day between 12 and 12:30pm and [redacted] wasn't there so the person that picked up the phone said, ok [redacted] its ready for pick up. My 61 years old father and brother went to the store to pick up the Turkey and they are being told that [redacted] should have never taken the order over the phone.

Then I called the store and I said but he took the order over the phone last night and my father and my brother are there to pick up the Turkey. Anyways they didn't get the Turkey because according to the guy in store the order was supposed to be placed in person and the customer would be issued a yellow slip.

As a customer we didn't get the Turkey we depended on. All the employees in the restaurant are not on the same page when it comes to providing customer with information. We depended on them because they serve Halal/Kosher meat. My father and my brother traveled from [redacted]. and [redacted] for nothing. Time and gas wasted. My six years old is waiting for the Turkey because mommy told him that grandpa and uncle went to get the Turkey.

In the end, customers get punished for an employee's wrong information. Turkey is not something that cooks fast. It's time consuming to cook one. So we could not find a Halal/Kosher Turkey for lunch right away. Our Thanksgiving was not with a Turkey but with leftovers. When my father and brother were refused a Turkey, I called the store and spoke to a guy that refused to give them a Turkey and asked him to speak to the [redacted] He said the [redacted] is not here yet. His name is [redacted] and he will be here after 6pm. This was a bad experience on a holiday.Desired Settlement: I should get a free whole Turkey cooked in brick oven which was supposed to come with brown rice and boiled eggs.

I will have a Thanksgiving Day meal on a regular day :)
