On Tuesday, March 28, 2017, I received a complaint at the office from a customer who said that we did not have any jojos and that we had charged him for them at our store on North Ridge Rd. He said that it was false advertising because we had run out of jojos and charged him for them anyways. I told...

him that I would be investigating the problem and that we would get back to him. I immediately called the store and spoke with our Deli Manager, she said that we had run short but that Samantha had brought in more potatoes to make the jojos and that we still had a few left in the hot case. I asked her if she had denied a customer any jojos. She said that she did not, that she did not completely run out; she only ran shortI asked her to let me speak with the Store Manager. She confirmed that she had just pulled into the store with the potatoes for jojos and that they still had a few left. Thinking that I may have misunderstood the customer, or gotten the wrong date, I asked the Store Manager to call the customer to find out when he had visited the store. I wanted to ensure we had the correct date and time. In addition, the managers can view video that is used for employee training purpose; when the Manager called the customer, he did not wish to speak with her. This all transpired on the same day he called me. I called the customer’s cell phone the next day and was told that he was not available. The person hung up the phone before I could say anything else. As a gesture of good faith, we will be happy to provide the customer 24 jojos free of charge. This was our original plan, but we unfortunately did not connect with him though we tried. All the customer needs to do, is go to the store and ask for the jojos. Company responded via phone as follows:The company indicated that the customer paid $10.00 for gas but never pumped it. The company stated that its system times out if gas is not pumped within a certain amount of time of swiping a credit card to pay and the system credited the consumer with the...

$10.00 automatically since no gas was pumped.The company stated the manager attempted to contact customer and never heard back and considers this complaint resolved.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.im not interested in speaking with anyone from the store and I don't want anything for free. I just don't like being lied too and my time wasted.  I will do my business somewhere else.  As far as my complaint, someone should be held responsible for their actions.
